Selfies by Sushi

When we asked for volunteers to take this week's selfie, our adorable and adoptable pal Sushi was the first to raise her pretty paw. Either she's been practicing, or she's a natural posing for the camera!

 

Sushi is a sweet and gentle kitty, who enjoys getting love and attention from her human pals, and gets along well with the other nice cats in her open room at PAWS. She's about 2 1/2 years old, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find her forever family. Come meet Sushi today!

(Almost) Wordless Cow Cat

Check out our adorable and adoptable buddy Cow Cat. It's not much of a mystery how he got his name ... aren't the spots on his head and his black tail wonderful?

 

CC can be a little bit shy with new people, but he warms up quickly if you give him a chance. He loves being pet by his human pals at PAWS, and gets along well with other nice cats. This 3 1/2 year-old cutie is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to find his happily ever after. Come meet your new best friend Cow Cat today!

Selfies by Kevin the Cat

Imagine our surprise when we walked into Cat Room 3 today, and found a kitty named Kevin (ed note: for those of you who don't know, Kevin is meowmeowmans' given name)! We're not sure how feline Kevin got his name, but it made us smile.

 

Kevin finds himself at PAWS after being abandoned outside by his former humans. Despite that inexcusable and utter betrayal, this handsome fellow has retained his sweet, gentle, and trusting nature. He absolutely adores his human friends at the shelter, and will be an amazing addition to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. Kevin is about 1 1/2 years old, neutered and current on his vaccinations. He's so ready to find his happily ever after. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Sterling

The first thing most people notice about our adoptable buddy Sterling is that he's super handsome. But it doesn't take long for them to notice he also happens to be one of the sweetest, friendliest kitties ever!

In case you're wondering if Sterling's coat is as plush as it looks, the answer is a definitive yes. If you're wondering if he came down from that cat tree after these photos were taken, however, the answer is no. That's because he: 1.) was super comfortable, and 2.) knew we would be more than happy to pet him right where he was. Sterling LOVES being pet and getting attention from his human friends and gets along well with the other nice cats in his open room. He's about 2 years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and waiting at PAWS to find his happily ever after. Could that be with you?

Wrigley, Trudy, Dudley and Paulina, who are 3 months-old, are delightful and purrfect kittens. They're outgoing and adore people of all ages, but also enjoy wrestling, romping about, and playing together! Please note that each of these kittens must be adopted with one of its siblings. All are spayed/neutered, current on their vaccinations, and ready to find their happily ever afters. Come meet them today!

Selfies by Nala

This week's selfie is brought to you by our sweet, adorable, and adoptable friend Nala. As you can see, even at her young age, she already has some serious modeling skills!

Nala's story is really similar to that of our own PAWS alumna, Ava. After Nala was adopted at six months old to a family whose child had severe allergies, she went to live in another home. Unfortunately, that family had a dog who badly frightened her into hiding all of the time.

Thankfully, Nala is now at PAWS where she is safe and adored. And with love and attention from the volunteers and staff, she's quickly coming out of her shell and showing everyone how sweet and wonderful she is. She even decided to sit on my lap for a bit today! We know she'll be a great addition to a quiet forever home. One year-old Nala gets along with other nice cats, but as you can imagine, must not go to a home that has a dog. She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find her happily ever after. Come meet Nala today, and fall in love!
