Look who raised her pretty little paw when we were looking for volunteers for this week's selfie. It's none other than our beautiful and adoptable friend Lenina!
This 10-month-old tabico ended up at PAWS when her human was sadly no longer able to afford her care. What a heartbreaking decision that must have been. We we are glad Lenina is safe and loved here while she waits to find her new forever home.
Life at the shelter has been a little confusing for this little cutie. She's still a bit shy, but is definitely starting to make the adjustment to being here. After she took these selfies, she definitely enjoyed the chin scritches and pets we gave her!

Oh my, Lenina's story is just so sad. We are sending up a chorus of purrs for Lenina and her person, hoping that Lenina will find a good new home soon.
