Our adorable new friend Mama Dandelion is one of the sweetest kitties we've ever met. When she wasn't posing purrfectly for these selfies, she was contentedly sitting in our laps, purring away. 💖

 

This beautiful and petite tuxedo ladycat was rescued two weeks after giving birth to (and taking care of) her kittens in a New Haven, CT basement. Her little ones are now about 10 weeks old, and are doing well in their foster home. In the meantime, Mama Dandelion is waiting patiently at PAWS to find her happily ever after where she can be someone's beloved forever baby. Mama Dandelion is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. All she needs now is a new best friend. Could it be you?

(Almost) Wordless Kittens!

We were so excited to spend some time this past weekend with our sweet, adorable, and adoptable friends Espresso and Mocha, and Jojo and Dragon Elizabeth. Look how cute they are!

This one-year-old kitty was rescued from the streets as an extremely friendly - and noticeably pregnant - stray. Now that her sweet babies are old enough to be spayed/neutered and adopted, Momma Leslie is ready to find her own forever home where she can be the baby.💖 Leslie loves people, and is microchipped, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to be discovered by a very lucky family. Happy midweek from our beautiful and adoptable friend Confetti! 💖

This 3-year-old ladycat is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. As you might guess from her calico coat, she's independent and bold, and sometimes sassy. Although she's not a cuddly lapcat, she does seem to enjoy the company of humans. (Other cats? Not so much.)

We do know she'll be a great best friend for some lucky adopter. All Confetti needs is a chance! Could it be with you?

Look who volunteered to take this week's selfies. It's our super handsome and adoptable friend Hector. 💖

 

According to his cage card, he had a rough life prior to coming to PAWS, and as a result can be a little cautious in unfamiliar situations. As you can see from the third photo above, though, Hector has begun to realize it's kind of fun to hang out with the humans at the shelter -- and that they are sources of love, care, and other good things. That's why we're fully confident that this sleek housepanther will positively blossom in a forever loving home. Hector is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccinations. We sure were happy when our buddy Howie raised his paw to volunteer to pose for this week's selfies. As you can see, he's 100% adorable. What makes him even more special is his super friendly, fun, and cuddly personality, which we think shines brightly in these images. 💖

 

Howie is about 10 months old. He loves his human friends and gets along well with other nice kitties. We're pretty certain he'll do well in almost any home -- especially one where he can give and get lots of love.
