Brotherly Selfies - Hei Hei and Khleo

What could be better than a sweet, handsome, and adoptable mancat? How about TWO sweet, handsome, and adoptable mancats? That's exactly what you get with amazing bonded brothers Hei Hei and Khleo. Here, see for yourself!

Brothers Hei Hei and Khleo
Khleo
Hei Hei

Two year-old Hei Hei and Khleo came to PAWS after their human had a change in living situation and was no longer able to care for them. We can tell these guys were well-loved because they are very well adjusted and friendly. They love attention from their human buddies, and get along with other nice kitties, too. Khleo and Hei Hei are neutered, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. They are extremely bonded, so they must be adopted together. The way we see it, that means double the love and double the fun. Come meet Hei Hei and Khleo today!

(Almost) Wordless Dutton

Anyone who looks at our adoptable pal Dutton will see immediately that he's a big and handsome mancat. We're here to tell you he's more than just a pretty face, though. It's true! This gentle giant also happens to be one of the sweetest and most gentle kitties ever.

Dutton was found as a stray, going from house to house and begging for food. Luckily for him, he came upon the house of a kind person who let him in. He loves his human pals and gets along well with other nice cats. He is about 3 years old, neutered, and current on his vaccinations, and would make a great addition to almost any home.

Dutton has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life! According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.

So there you have it. Dutton is most definitely an awesome and amazing kitty. All he needs now is a forever home. Could it be with you?

Selfies with Arya

We were so excited when our sleek and beautiful pal Arya volunteered to pose for this weeks selfies! She can often be seen flying her airplane ears (as you can see in her photos), but it doesn't mean she's unhappy. In fact, as she's becoming more comfortable about being at the shelter, Arya's loving and friendly nature has really come to the fore. Can you say "lap cat?" 💖

5 1/2 year-old Arya was first adopted from PAWS as a 6 month-old kitten, but was recently returned because she was having difficulty adapting to life in a home with small children. According to her cage card description, "she can be a little bit swatty when there's too much going on around her" (hey, we totally get it ... we get a little cranky when too much is going on, too!). Arya would be happiest in a quiet home with no small children or other animals. She loves hanging out with her human pals (just look at that third photo ... she was so happy on Tracey's lap, and mine before that). Arya is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. This awesome kitty is totally ready to find a real and loving forever home. Come meet Arya today!

(Almost) Wordless Fiesty

When we first met our handsome and adoptable pal Fiesty, we thought maybe his name was spelled incorrectly. Was it actually, we wondered, supposed to be F-E-I-S-T-Y? Did his moniker belie some sort of personality trait we needed to be cautious about? Well, we didn't get an answer about the origins of his name, but we can tell you this gentle and loving mancat is NOT feisty. In reality, Fiesty is as sweet and affectionate as they come. 💖

Fiesty (maybe it should be "Fiesta," since every day would be a party with this guy in your life) is about 8 months old. He enjoys being loved up by his human friends, and seems to get along well with other nice cats. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Now all he needs is a forever best friend. Could it be you?

Selfies by Fluffy

Our handsome and adoptable pal Fluffy is an all-around good dude. As you can see, this sweet and friendly guy also knows how to take a magnificent selfie!

Fluffy, who is about two years old, came to PAWS after showing up on a nice person's porch and making himself right at home. So he obviously has good judgement and decision-making skills. He also has an amazing personality. He loves people and gets along super well with other nice kitties. Fluffy is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All he needs now is to find his forever loving family. Could it be yours?

(Almost) Wordless Jacques

We're not messing around when we say our friendly and adoptable buddy Jacques is a real looker! Just take a gander and you'll see what we mean.

When this gentle giant (and his giant polydactyl mitts) first arrived at PAWS, he was very matted and had an upper respiratory infection. But even with all that going on, his stellar personality shone through! Now that all of his mats have been shaved off and he's recovered from his cold, he's ready to find his forever home. 1 1/2 year old Jacques is sweet and affectionate, loves people, and gets along with other nice cats. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet Jacques today, and fall in love!

(Almost) Wordless Cappy

Check out the cool whiskers on our adoptable pal Cappy, Don't you just love the way they curl upward like a jaunty handlebar mustache?

There are a whole bunch of other things to love about handsome Cappy besides his whiskers (and great ear tufts). We think the most important one is his super friendly personality, but we also give him props for being a great conversationalist. He is, as they say, quite the talker! Cappy is about two years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He's waiting at PAWS to find his forever home. Maybe it's with you?

Selfies by Ollie

Look who raised one of his giant polydactyl paws when we asked who wanted to pose for this week's Sunday Selfie. It's our handsome, sweet, and gentle buddy Ollie!

Look at Ollie's amazing polydactyl front paws!

We really enjoyed hanging out with Ollie this weekend. He spent most of his scheduled "out" time snuggled up between us, purring away and soaking up the love, pets, and scritches he was receiving. According to his information card, Ollie came to PAWS from a home that had too many cats. We're glad he will now be able to find a forever home where he won't have to compete with so many others! 5 1/2 year-old Ollie is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to find his happily ever after.

Ollie has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life.
