This week's selfie is brought to you by our sweet, adorable, and adoptable friend Nala. As you can see, even at her young age, she already has some serious modeling skills!
Nala's story is really similar to that of our own PAWS alumna, Ava. After Nala was adopted at six months old to a family whose child had severe allergies, she went to live in another home. Unfortunately, that family had a dog who badly frightened her into hiding all of the time.
Thankfully, Nala is now at PAWS where she is safe and adored. And with love and attention from the volunteers and staff, she's quickly coming out of her shell and showing everyone how sweet and wonderful she is. She even decided to sit on my lap for a bit today! We know she'll be a great addition to a quiet forever home. One year-old Nala gets along with other nice cats, but as you can imagine, must not go to a home that has a dog. She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find her happily ever after. Come meet Nala today, and fall in love!

Nala, you are quite lovely, and we are sorry for the problems in your first two homes. We know you will find the purrfect family for you, and while you wait, you are in the best possible place. Nala is a beautiful young ladycat. That last photo is especially terrific, she's posing perfectly. I hope she finally finds her true forever home soon, she's certainly had more than her share of challenges in that regard already. 🤞❤️

What an elegant Ladycat! I am so sorry, more than I can say that she had to suffer with a dog. Thank goodness the dog owners brought her back. This time will be the charm precious Nala.

Nala, you are SUCH a beautiful pussycat! We are sorry things didn't work out for you before, but they do say "third time lucky", don't they? So we are absolutely convinced that this time, it's going to be RIGHT and you are going to be scooped up and carried off to your true, foreffur home.
Nala is beautiful. Some people try, but they just aren't cut out to care for cats, or for certain cats.
