(Almost) Wordless Sterling

The first thing most people notice about our adoptable buddy Sterling is that he's super handsome. But it doesn't take long for them to notice he also happens to be one of the sweetest, friendliest kitties ever!

In case you're wondering if Sterling's coat is as plush as it looks, the answer is a definitive yes. If you're wondering if he came down from that cat tree after these photos were taken, however, the answer is no. That's because he: 1.) was super comfortable, and 2.) knew we would be more than happy to pet him right where he was. Sterling LOVES being pet and getting attention from his human friends and gets along well with the other nice cats in his open room. He's about 2 years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and waiting at PAWS to find his happily ever after. Could that be with you?

Wrigley, Trudy, Dudley and Paulina, who are 3 months-old, are delightful and purrfect kittens. They're outgoing and adore people of all ages, but also enjoy wrestling, romping about, and playing together! Please note that each of these kittens must be adopted with one of its siblings. All are spayed/neutered, current on their vaccinations, and ready to find their happily ever afters. Come meet them today!

Selfies by Nala

This week's selfie is brought to you by our sweet, adorable, and adoptable friend Nala. As you can see, even at her young age, she already has some serious modeling skills!

Nala's story is really similar to that of our own PAWS alumna, Ava. After Nala was adopted at six months old to a family whose child had severe allergies, she went to live in another home. Unfortunately, that family had a dog who badly frightened her into hiding all of the time.

Thankfully, Nala is now at PAWS where she is safe and adored. And with love and attention from the volunteers and staff, she's quickly coming out of her shell and showing everyone how sweet and wonderful she is. She even decided to sit on my lap for a bit today! We know she'll be a great addition to a quiet forever home. One year-old Nala gets along with other nice cats, but as you can imagine, must not go to a home that has a dog. She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find her happily ever after. (Almost) Wordless Marmalade

In all of our years (47+ of them combined) as shelter volunteers, we can't recall ever hearing a rescue story quite like that of our beautiful and adoptable friend Marmalade.

 

This two year-old sweetheart showed up as a stray and was being fed outside by a kind family. When they let Marmalade inside at her insistence, she climbed in to a laundry basket and promptly started giving birth. The family was on their way out of town for vacation, and brought Marmalade to PAWS. She had already had three kittens in the laundry basket, had another at the shelter, and had one more at her foster home!

 
 

Her five babies have all found (or are in the process) of finding their forever homes, and now it's her turn to find her happily ever after. Marmalade is super friendly (she loves people and gets along well with other nice cats) and affectionate, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and so, so ready to meet her forever BFF. Could it be you?

 

Selfies by Thunder

Our awesome and adoptable pal Thunder took a pretty interesting route getting to PAWS. He was found wandering about by some kind students, who rescued and cared for him. That situation didn't work out perfectly, since it turns out the students were not allowed to keep animals on campus. So Thunder the wondercat finds himself here at the shelter waiting to find a forever home.

 

He is such a good boy! One year old Thunder is sweet, affectionate, and (as you can see) dashingly handsome. He loves people and gets along with other nice cats. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to be your new best friend. Come meet Thunder today, and fall in love.
