Easy Like Sunday Selfie - Emily 💖

We all ask ourselves, "Why is sweet, beautiful and gentle Emily still waiting for her forever home?" It's probably because she can be a little shy with people with whom she's not familiar, so she doesn't always "show well" to potential adopters. But Emily doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and absolutely ADORES her human buddies at PAWS. And we adore her, too! Just look at Miss Em, posing so demurely in her favorite snuggly bed...

Emily is about 8 years old. She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She gets along well with other cats,  but would also be fine as an only kitty in a nice, quiet home. Emily is an amazing, lovable girl with so much love to give. Now all she needs is a best friend to give her the chance she deserves. Hey, don't YOU need a new best friend? 💝

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Cali :)

Beautiful Cali is fairly new at PAWS, but we already know her well enough to tell you that she's a real sweetheart who loves people, and who knows how to pose for the camera. Just check out these shots from her "official" photo shoot on Sunday... 

Cali is about 2 1/2 years old. She was found as a stray, but her wandering days are over and she's oh-so-ready to find her forever family. Cali is friendly, gentle and playful, and gets along well with other cats. She would also be fine as your one-and-only kitty. Cali is spayed, micro-chipped and current on her vaccinations. She is negative for FIV and FeLV. Pictures don't lie ... she's an awesome cat. Come meet her, and see for yourself! :)

Sunday Selfies with Hemingway :)

Check out these selfies by our super handsome, ultra-adoptable new pal, Hemingway. He's one of the sweetest, most happy-go-lucky kitties we've ever met. 

Until late this week, Hemingway was sporting what some refer to as a "cone of shame," which he had to wear after having surgery to remove one of his back legs (he came to PAWS with a badly damaged leg that could not be saved). Throughout the entire ordeal, this awesome dude has been friendly, gentle and afftectionate toward everyone he meets. As for that missing leg, Hemingway says if it doesn't bother you, it certainly doesn't bother him. He gets around just fine, plays, and loves being pet. Hemingway is about 7 years old, neutered, micro-chipped and current on his vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He's full of love, and ready to find his happily ever after. (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Artemis 💘

Valentine's Day is almost here, and love is in the air, thanks to our sweet and cuddly pal, Artemis. This senior ladycat really enjoys snuggling with her human friends, and we look forward to spending special time with her every weekend. :)

Now all "Artie" needs is a loving home and human of her very own. Artemis is about 14 years old. She has severe arthritis, for which she gets a monthly injection of Adequan and a daily dose of Cosequin. These help her feel better, and able to do what she does best, which is to seek out some serious snuggle time. She would be the perfect companion for a someone who is home a lot (after all, home a lot = lots of snuggles). Artie is spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations. She is negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet Artie today, and fall in love!

Artemis qualifies for the PAWS Pension Plan, which features no fee adoptions for cats 12 years and older, with the following included at no cost for the life of the cat: a yearly exam and senior blood workup analysis, and vaccinations as recommended by the PAWS vet.

Easy Like Sunday Selfie - Garfield

Today may be Super Bowl Sunday, but after meeting handsome and gentle Garfield, we're renaming this "Super Adoptable Cat Sunday." At first, we were a little worried we wouldn't be able to get a good photo of Garfield, since all he wanted to do was follow us around the room, play, get petted and weave around our ankles. But he understood us when we told him that good photos can be super helpful in finding a forever home, and as you can see here, he's quite the model. Just look at this gorgeous dude!

A little bit of "Easy like Sunday" style...

Garfield is about 10 years old (but seems much younger). He's neutered, micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He loves people, and would be great in an adults-only home, or with older children. He'd be fine with other nice cats, or as your one and only. We have a feeling he won't be at PAWS long, so be sure to come fall in love with Garfield soon!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Philomena :)

Looking for a new BFF? Our beautiful new friend Philomena just may be the cat for you! She's super sweet, super friendly, and super affectionate. She hasn't been at PAWS long, but all the volunteers and staff already LOVE her. :)

Philomena is about 5 1/2 years young, spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She loves to snuggle, get pets, and play, when the mood strikes. All she needs now is a forever home. Is it yours? :)

Sunday Seflies - Elmer and Theodore

Everybody loves roommates Elmer and Theodore!

Handsome housepanther Elmer has been at PAWS for a while.* He used to be sort of rambunctious, but he has mellowed quite a bit with time. He's still lots of fun, though. This silly and smart mancat is definitely ready to find his forever home. (* To be fair, Elmer was adopted briefly, but returned when the people were no longer able to care for him.)

Black and white Theodore has super cool markings, which is totally appropriate since he's a super cool dude. He also happens to love other kitties, and like people (including children!), too.

Elmer and Theo are waiting patiently to find their respective happily ever afters. Then again, they get along so well that maybe, just maybe they could find a forever home together. Wouldn't THAT be the cat's meow? :)
