This is our adoptable friend Sunny. Even though this beautiful medium-haired ladycat is still pretty new to PAWS, she's already proven herself to be sweet, friendly and playful. Sunny is about 5 years old, spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations. She's also tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

I popped back into PetValu yesterday to pick up a little stuffed owl (it's a squeaky dog toy, actually), and saw that Daisy still is waiting for her forever home. And yes, most pet supply stores in our city work with the local HS to adopt out cats. In fact, the City now has banned (or it's in the works) the selling of animals in pet stores (only one or two were still doing that). Doesn't stop people from posting on Kijiji, etc., but at least it makes a positive statement, IMO.
