After two years of waiting, Miss Pepper was adopted by a nice young couple who we're sure will spoil her rotten. According to our friend (and PAWS staff member) Matt, it was love at first sight. Maybe it's just a coincidence that it happened on the same day as Maggie's passing. But maybe not. After all, our Maggie always knew how to make us smile. :)

Our New Angel Maggie Pulls Some Strings
Thank you all for showering us with so much kindness, love and support as we continue to mourn the loss of our Maggie. We've been totally amazed and overwhelmed (in a good way) by the many thoughtful comments, purrs and prayers of friends both old and new. We're sure that our Angel Maggie, whose antics always made us smile and laugh, would approve. And maybe, just maybe our sweet girl is pulling a few strings to give us all a little happiness. Because on the very same day that Maggie went to the Bridge...

I would very much like to think that Maggie knew you would need to remember there is much good in the world to temper the grief, and pulled a few strings to take care of you.

Yay for Pepper!!! Always happy to see s senior cat find a loving home. Seniors always seem to have a lesser chance with adoption.
We are so very very very sorry to hear the news of Maggie's passing. She was a lovely girl who always made us smile. We are certain that she had a helping paw in bringing Pepper to her Forever Home.

Oh that was no coincidence at all! That was definitely your Maggie gettin' the job done from her new digs at the Bridge. My Human says that BooBoo and Mr Teeth watch out for her all the time (my Human has a strange way of naming her kitties, huh?)

Thank you for your concern about my family in Japan. They had minor damage on their house but they are ok. You have cousins in Japan as well. They are living in western part but are they ok? I hope everyone you know is doing well.
