Can you believe that our adoptable pal Carl Fredrickson is as sweet as he is good-looking? It's true!

 

 

 Carl, who is about three years old, was left behind by the people who were supposed to be his family.  (Reminder: pets are not disposable. If you're not ready to commit to their whole lives, maybe rethink the whole adoption thing. Just saying.) Thanks to some kind humans, he's now safe at PAWS, where he's finally getting the love he deserves.

 

 

Anyway, despite being abandoned, Carl is still a total sweetheart. This long-haired tuxedo gentleman is gentle, affectionate, and has the most expressive eyebrow whiskers you’ve ever seen. He’s also rocking a fantastic set of paws -- it's like he’s part cat, part teddy bear!

 

Carl is good with other nice cats and kind humans of all ages. He’s neutered, up to date on all his shots, and ready to start the next chapter of his life with someone who actually deserves him. All he needs now is for someone to say “you’re home.” Could it be you?

(Almost) Wordless Symphony

As you can see from these photos, our beautiful and adoptable friend Symphony knows a thing or two about posing for the camera.

 

This sweet brown tabby had it pretty rough before she found her way to PAWS. Symphony was abandoned and discovered in very poor condition, but made an incredible recovery thanks to the loving care of her foster family. After months of rest, healing, and plenty of TLC, Symphony is now thriving — and so, so ready to be adopted!

 

Symphony is about 2 years old, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to start the next chapter of her life. She’s a true delight -- happy, super friendly, and deeply affectionate. She loves spending time with her human friends and gets along well with other nice cats.

Selfies by Kit Kat

Look who’s ready for a fresh start and a whole lot of snuggles. Say hello to the lovely Kit Kat!

 

This truly stunning long-haired tortoiseshell has a gentle heart and the softest fur you’ll ever pet. Beautiful Kit Kat has been through quite a bit in her young life. She was heartbreakingly left behind in an apartment by her previous human (Editor’s note: This is never okay, and we just can't understand how someone could do it). After being passed between a few different tenants, Kit Kat finally found her way to us here at PAWS.

 

Despite everything she’s been through, Kit Kat has remained incredibly affectionate and trusting. She adores her human friends at the shelter, loves nothing more than quiet cuddle sessions, and will happily sit with you for some calm companionship and a few chin scratches. She also gets along well with other gentle cats -- just one more reason she’s a total gem.

Kit Kat is about 3 years old, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. During her exam, our vet did note a Grade 3/6 heart murmur, but her blood work came back completely normal. We do recommend a follow-up with your own vet to learn more, but she's otherwise a healthy, sweet, and loving kitty.

(Almost) Wordless Norman

Our handsome and gentle friend Norman is all dressed up in his finest tuxedo and ready to find his forever home. Just look at that sweet face, those dreamy eyes, and his perfectly polished white paws. Don't you just love him already?

 

 

Norman is about 1 1/2 years old and was found wandering the streets, but it’s clear he once belonged to someone -- he’s just that good with people.

 

  

This mellow fellow is on the quiet side and would thrive in a calm, cozy home with a relaxed vibe. He’s great with people of all ages and gets along with other nice cats too.

Selfies by Cupcake

Look who raised her paw when we asked who wanted to be take this week’s selfie – it’s our sweet and gentle friend Cupcake!

 

We absolutely adore Cupcake. This lovely 7-year-old ladycat absolutely melts into your hands for scritches, loves being pet, and has the loudest, most soothing purr ever. She truly lives up to her sweet name!

 

Cupcake came to us after living in a large hoarding situation with an elderly woman who sadly passed away. During her time living there, this kitty received no medical or dental care, and she had a painful case of stomatitis when she came to PAWS. Thankfully, she has now had a full dental procedure -- every tooth and many retained roots were removed -- and she’s now feeling so much better! She’s eating well, thriving on a wet food diet, and living her life to the fullest.

 

 

Despite everything she’s been through, Cupcake has remained nothing but loving, gentle, and talkative. She gets along well with other kind cats and absolutely adores people. You’ll never feel alone with this sweet soul nearby.

 

Cupcake is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready to be adopted. Like our own beloved Target, Cupcake has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). But don't let that scare you! According to Best Friends Animal Society, “FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration.” It’s not contagious to people or other pets, and Cupcake can safely live with other friendly cats.

(Almost) Wordless Santiago

Meet our sweet and affectionate buddy Santiago! This big, fluffy guy has had a bit of a rough start - he spent some time living on the streets before finding his way to PAWS. Thankfully, he’s remained full of love and trust, and now he’s ready to find the forever home he truly deserves.

Santiago is about 5 years old and has the most stunning long-haired tuxedo coat and striking baby blue eyes. He came to us with a pretty bad ear infection that had clearly been bothering him for a while. He’s feeling much better now thanks to treatment, but his ear has a permanent crinkle that gives him a unique and dashing look. We think it just adds to his charm!

This gentle boy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and good with other cats. Best of all, he absolutely adores people and wants to be near you to soak up all the affection you’re willing to give.
