(Almost) Wordless Frieda

 Fabulous and friendly Frieda first came to PAWS with four older kittens in tow. Barely out of kittenhood herself, this sweet and petite ladycat is now ready to be some lucky family's beloved baby.

Frieda is all about the love, and gets along with everyone. She has lived (and did really well) with cats, dogs, and children, so we know she will be an ideal addition to almost any home. She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Frieda is so ready to find her new best friend. Is it you?

Selfies by Antonio

Our pal Antonio is one of those cats who's got it all. Good looks? Check. Wonderful purrsonality? Affirmative. Gets along with other kitties and loves people? Yup. Lap cat? Uh huh. In fact, the only thing Antonio doesn't yet have is a forever family. We sure hope that changes soon.

Antonio showed up on an area doorstep during a bad snowstorm last winter. We're thankful that the kind lady who lived there took Antonio in and kept him safe. She already had too many cats, though, and knew she would not be able to keep this sweet and affectionate mancat long-term. Which is how he ended up coming to PAWS. He's about 2 years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. As mentioned in our intro, he's pretty much the perfect kitty. (Almost) Wordless Kiara

This is our beautiful friend Kiara. We hope you can see in these photos the sweet and gentle kitty the volunteers and staff at PAWS are already lucky enough to know.

1 1/2 year-old Kiara was recently a mama, but is now ready to find her own happily ever after where she is the beloved baby. She can be a little shy with new people, but will seek out pets and attention from those she knows. We can definitely attest to this, and are fully confident that she will absolutely blossom in a loving forever home! Kiara is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All she needs now is a BFF. Could it be you?

Selfies by Lucien

When we asked the PAWS cats who wanted to take this week's selfies, our lovable and outgoing pal Lucien immediately volunteered. As you can see from his supermodel good looks and poses, this guy knows what he's doing in from of a camera!

And Lucien is more than just handsome face. He's also got a sweet and gentle personality. Put all that together -- and add in his amazing polydactyl front paws (you can see them in the third photo) -- and it's clear to all that Lucien is the 100% real deal.

Lucien, who is only about 10 months old, was found as a stray, emaciated and full of fleas. But just look at him now! He was rescued and restored to good health, and is now ready to find his happily ever after. Lucien is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Now all he needs is to be discovered by his new forever family. We hope they find him soon!

(Almost) Wordless Cecil

Handsome, sweet, and adoptable Cecil is such an easygoing mancat. The first time we met him, he jumped right up next to us and sprawled out, totally at ease. It was like he was inviting us to join him in a chill session. And it wasn't a fluke. In fact, his calm and friendly nature has a lot to do with why everyone at PAWS loves him so much!

Cecil is about two years old. As we mentioned, he adores his human pals. He also happens to get along well with other nice cats. Cecil is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. In today's crazy world, we think everyone could use a best friend like Cecil who exudes peace, love, and understanding. Come meet him today!

Selfies by Herbie

This is our amazing and adoptable friend Herbie. And in case you're wondering, Herbie is indeed a love bug!

This handsome fellow is always the first to greet guests to the open room he shares with two other nice kitties. As you can see in the second photo, he's also quick to invite passers-by to come in for some catnip, snuggles, and good conversation. Herbie, who is is about 2 1/2 years old, is a happy-go-lucky dude who has been through a lot in his young life. After being rescued from the streets and adopted, his former humans moved and left him behind on the porch of their now-abandoned home, where he was found shivering during a snowstorm.

We are so grateful that he is safe and loved at PAWS. Herbie has quickly become a favorite of among the volunteers and staff,  and gets along famously with other nice cats. Herbie is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to find his happily ever after. Come meet him today!

Herbie has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.

(Almost) Wordless Rudy

Looking for a best friend who's handsome, gentle, and all around amazing? You are? Then look no further than our adoptable buddy Rudy. He's all of those things, and more!

Rudy came to PAWS with his buddies Hashbrown, Moo, and Sophia after they were discovered in an outdoor hoarding situation. He loves getting pets and chin scritches from his human pals, and gets along super well with other nice cats. Rudy, who is about 3 years old, is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.  Come meet him today. You'll both be glad you did!
