If you think of hash browns as a side dish, you probably haven't met our awesome and adoptable pal Hashbrown. He's handsome, gentle, and sweet as can be. Side dish? No way. Star of the show? Most definitely!

Anyone who visits PAWS Cat Room 5 is sure to be welcomed by our beautiful and adoptable friend Sylvia. She adores people, and has quickly become the official greeter in this open (cageless) room! One thing about cats who run to greet you is that it can be a real challenge to get them to sit still for a proper portrait. Imagine our surprise when Sylvia volunteered for this week's selfie! We think you'll agree she did an amazing job.
Don't you just love our beautiful and adoptable friend Amelia? As you can see from these photos, she has the cutest face. She also happens to have an adorable personality to match!
We always enjoy spending time with this wonderful kitty, and she always does something to bring a smile to our faces. See that third photo, of Amelia in the scratcher box? She finally settled on that one after trying three other boxes around the room in a five-minute span. It was like watching "Goldilocks & the 3 Bears" on fast forward. MOL!
Amelia, who is about 2 1/2 years old, is incredibly sweet and super social. When she first arrived at PAWS, she had a very bad urinary tract infection, but with medical care and a special diet she is doing much better, and is on the way a full recovery. Amelia is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She is so ready to be adopted with her meds and special food, and just needs a chance. Amelia is sure to fill her forever home love and laughter. Could it be with you?
Look at our adorable new friends Quija and Addy. As you can see, this brother and sister really know how to play to the camera!

In what is most definitely one of those classic "there are no bad cats, only not-so-good owners" moments, our beautiful friend Cooca was recently returned to PAWS for "escaping" from her home. Sigh. We suppose it's all for the best, because now this beautiful ladycat can find her real forever loving home.
We love the kitties in PAWS Cat Room 5. All of these sweet cats were very shy when they got here, but something about this particular mix of roommates (and the love and patience they have been shown by their human pals) has allowed each of them to make incredible strides.
Super handsome Apple, who used to hide whenever humans would enter the room, can now most often be found relaxing on one of the primo cat hammocks. He adores head rubs and chin scritches.

Sweet and beautiful Arizona was pretty nervous when she first arrived, too. Now, she comes out to greet those lucky enough to visit.

Arizona really enjoys being pet, and adores other kitties -- especially her BFF, Fang.

Fang came to PAWS with his brothers Draco and Phantom. They were terrified and overwhelmed when they arrived, and could always be found huddled together for security. None of them would dare make eye contact, so selfies were most definitely out of the question. Look how far they've come (and yes, they all enjoy being pet now, too)!

Check out our beautiful, sweet, and incredibly lovable friend Cheetah. We're not kidding when we tell you she is adored by pretty much everyone at PAWS. Yes, she's that wonderful. 💖
Cheetah, who is about 7 years old, ended up at PAWS when her owner became homeless. Her former human did her best to keep Cheetah safe, but eventually felt it best to give her to friends to care for her. Sadly, they let Cheetah's health deteriorate. The silver lining, we suppose, is that she ended up here, where she has received the love and care she needed. Throughout it all, Cheetah has been the same lovable and loving kitty. And now she's now ready to find her real forever home! She gets along well with other cats, and as we mentioned previously, adores her human pals. She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. To know her is to love her, so come meet Cheetah today!
