Check out our new buddies Thora and Nix. While they're waiting at PAWS to be discovered by their new forever family, these beautiful sisters are living large in the brand new jungle-themed room decorated and designed by our good friends and fellow volunteers Maggie (check out her awesome blog here) and Rick. It most certainly seems like a purrfect room for tiger tabby Thora and sleek black housepanther Nix!
Talk about beautiful. This here is our gorgeous, gentle, and super friendly pal Meringue. As you can see, the camera absolutely loves her.
It was actually difficult to get photos that showed Meringue's whole body, because she loves people so much that she kept walking right at the camera. We can 100% attest to the fact that she gives great headbonks, and adores being pet. We can tell she was loved so much by her former human, who sadly passed away, which is how this sweet kitty wound up at PAWS. Meringue is about 11 years old, and still has so much living to do, and so much love to give. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She gets along fine with other nice cats, but could also be happy as your one and only kitty. Please come meet Meringue, and fall in love.

Handsome alert! Handsome alert! As you can see, our buddy Charlie is one super good-looking dude. But guess what? This whisker-licious fellow also happens to be 100% friendly and sweet. It's true! Charlie is pretty much purr-fect. Now all he needs is a forever home.

While we do enjoy visiting every week with our sweet and beautiful friend Scarlett, it makes us sad that she is still waiting at PAWS to be discovered by her forever family.
Scarlett, who is about 11 years old, wound up at the shelter when her family moved and left her behind. She really loves the company of people, likes being petted, enjoys a good lap, and even plays when the mood strikes (laser toy, anyone?). She does sometimes nip because she's a little under-socialized. For this reason, she would do best in a home with experienced pet parents and no human children. Scarlett does not get along with other cats, so she would be most happy as a one and only kitty. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Sweet Scarlett just needs a chance. Could it be with you?

Pepper, who came to us as a stray, is very friendly and outgoing! He adores spending time with, and getting pets and attention from, his human buddies. He also happens to get along well with the other nice cats in his open room at PAWS. Oh, by the way, Pepper asked us to let you all know that he could also be happy as a one and only kitty, if that's how you roll.💖

Did you know that every orange cat has stripes? They may be faint, but the stripes are there to be found on every orange domesticated kitty. Take our super friendly and ravishingly handsome pal Forest, for example. He's definitely got some classic tabby stripes. He also happens to have dreamy green eyes and the sweetest nose freckles!
Sadly, Forest came to PAWS after his young owner suddenly passed away. This poor fella lived alone in a home for more than a year with only occasional visits from his human's family until he was brought to the shelter. We can only imagine how confusing, scary, and lonely that time had been for this precious kitty. We are glad, though, that he is here now to be loved and cared for until he finds his new happily ever after. We can tell you that he absolutely adores attention from his human buddies! Forest is about 12 years old, but don't let that stop you from loving him; he's still quite active, with lots of living and loving left in his tank. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Forest is ready to find his new best friend. Is it you?
