(Almost) Wordless Forest

Did you know that every orange cat has stripes? They may be faint, but the stripes are there to be found on every orange domesticated kitty. Take our super friendly and ravishingly handsome pal Forest, for example. He's definitely got some classic tabby stripes. He also happens to have dreamy green eyes and the sweetest nose freckles!

Sadly, Forest came to PAWS after his young owner suddenly passed away. This poor fella lived alone in a home for more than a year with only occasional visits from his human's family until he was brought to the shelter. We can only imagine how confusing, scary, and lonely that time had been for this precious kitty. We are glad, though, that he is here now to be loved and cared for until he finds his new happily ever after. We can tell you that he absolutely adores attention from his human buddies! Forest is about 12 years old, but don't let that stop you from loving him; he's still quite active, with lots of living and loving left in his tank. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Forest is ready to find his new best friend. Is it you?

Poor guy, what a sad story. His cute freckles and loving personality are sure to shorten his stay at PAWS.
I didn’t know that all orange cats have stripes. Good factoid and terrific photographs, Kevin!

Such a sad story, losing his human and being alone for such a long time. I'm glad he's safe at PAWS and hope finds his next home soon.
His orange markings remind me a bit of the new celebrity cat Jorts 😸

What a terrific looking cat Forest is! His freckles are wonderful! Marv says he knows exactly how Forest feels. he spent 10 months living in a small sterile room with little contact with people. We are purraying especailly hard that he gets his forever home soon!

Forest is adorable! I love his little nose freckles. Twelve is a great age! They're old enough that you know their personality, but still young enough to politely play. I hope he finds a new family soon.

Forest, we see that stripey tail. That's where Cooper's stripes are most evident as well. Those nose freckles make you all the more adorable. We cannot imagine what you went through for that year. You definitely deserve a new, loving home. Best wishes for that to come your way soon.
