Flash's Easy Like Sunday Selfie

Check out our buddy, Flash, mixing her Sunday Selfie with an easy from one of the Room 5 doll beds. Isn't she adorable? What makes this even more special is how much progress Flash has made in recent weeks. She was SO skittish for months, and would largely try to be as invisible as possible and avoid human touch. But just look at her selfie. Doesn't she look calm and relaxed? It's because she is!

It's true. Flash has decided that the humans at PAWS are not so scary, and that she even loves getting pets and scritches from the ones she knows and trusts (hooray that we are some of those!).

Flash is about 9 1/2 years-old, and came to the shelter after her human passed away. She likes other nice cats and would do really well in a quiet home that will be patient with her. She's a sweetheart who just needs a little time to feel comfortable in new situations. Flash is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All this wonderful ladycat needs is a chance. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Molly

You know that friend that everyone falls in love with? That's definitely our beautiful and adoptable friend, Molly. Take a look. This kitty is beautiful inside and out! When I was taking these photos, I'm fairly certain Molly was willing me to put the camera down, so that I could give her more snuggles. I, of course, gave in. 😸

Molly is about 10 years old, and came to PAWS as a stray. She loves attention and being pet, and enjoys hanging out with her human pals. She also gets along with other nice kitties, though she would also be okay with being your one and only kitty. She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. (Almost) Wordless Rocket

We're not sure how Rocket got his name, because this handsome fella seems to be pretty calm and mellow. Oh, and get a load of those magnificent whiskers!

4 year-old Rocket came to PAWS after being rescued from a hoarding situation where he lived with dozens of other cats. As you might guess, he gets along well with other kitties, and would be great in a home with another friendly cat or two. He is still a little overwhelmed by being at the shelter, but is really starting to come out of his shell. We know that he will absolutely blossom in a forever loving home! He is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Rocket is so ready to be discovered by his new best friend. Could it be you? 💖

Truth be told, these 10 year-old bonded litter mates remind us a lot of our beloved angel housepanthers, Gracie and Zoe (who also happened to be bonded sisters), which might be part of the reason we so enjoy our visits with them in PAWS Cat Room 5. 💖

Sunny and Stacy came to the shelter when their human passed away. They were really nervous when they first arrived, but with patience, love, and kindness from the volunteers and staff here, their sweet natures have reemerged. The girls, who must be adopted together, love to be petted and have attention, and adore spending time with people. They get along well with other nice cats, and would be a perfect addition for a quieter home. Sunny and Stacy are both spayed, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. (Almost) Wordless Dax

Have you ever met someone, and immediately known you would be great friends? Well, that's how we felt the first time we met our awesome and adoptable new buddy, Dax. And you know what? We're pretty sure Dax gets that same feeling with everybody he meets. He is such a sweet and happy-go-lucky mancat.

 3 year old Dax came to PAWS when his family moved to a place where pets are not allowed. He was really nervous here at first, but has quickly discovered that the humans here are really nice, and the sources of good things like food, pets and scritches, playtime, and catnip! Dax is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He gets along with other nice cats, but could also be happy as your one and only buddy, if that's how you roll. If you're looking for a new BFF, Dax may just be the kitty for you!

Potter's Easy Like Sunday Selfie

Our super handsome buddy, Potter, volunteered to take this week's selfie. As you can see, this housepanther can multi-task with the best of them, and he combined his selfie with some "Easy Like Sunday" flair. Well done, Potter!

Potter is super friendly and outgoing, but ended up at PAWS because he was not getting along with the other cat in his home. He loves attention from people, but must be your one and only furry friend.

Potter is about 5 years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. His cage card says that he has had issues with peeing outside of the box in his two former homes (even when he was an only cat). We have not seen that yet at the shelter, but Potter really needs an experienced and patient adopter who can work to re-train him on little box usage, possibly by starting him in a small room/cage/space, and then slowly expanding his space. He's been medically checked out, and he's fine physically. We know there is a perfect, loving and patient forever home out there for this guy ... we just have to find it! Until we do, Potter will be loved and cared for by the humans at PAWS.💖
