Have you ever met someone, and immediately known you would be great friends? Well, that's how we felt the first time we met our awesome and adoptable new buddy, Dax. And you know what? We're pretty sure Dax gets that same feeling with everybody he meets. He is such a sweet and happy-go-lucky mancat.
3 year old Dax came to PAWS when his family moved to a place where pets are not allowed. He was really nervous here at first, but has quickly discovered that the humans here are really nice, and the sources of good things like food, pets and scritches, playtime, and catnip! Dax is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He gets along with other nice cats, but could also be happy as your one and only buddy, if that's how you roll. If you're looking for a new BFF, Dax may just be the kitty for you!
(P.S.: For those of you who also follow our pals at Brian's Home, doesn't Dax sorta remind you of Brother Simon?)

Dax is a beauty! I went to a podiatry appointment today and was surprised to see they had a cat. They said someone moved out of an apartment next door and left the cat behind so they decided to take care of it.
Dax really does remind me of Simon lots!

Before we even saw your comment about Dax looking like Simon, we thought...doesn't Dax look like Simon? Dax has a very friendly face.
Dax is a very handsome boy with nice smiley whiskers.
Dax does look like Simon, but the first thing I thought was wow, he's so beautiful and that he reminds me of my angel Annie, even though Annie was a bit darker in colouring.
We're certainly keeping our fingers and paws crossed that he finds his TRUE forever home very soon! ♥

Dax is quite handsome. And he does look playful, especially in that second picture.
It's sad that he had to part ways with family because of a housing rule :(
