(Almost) Wordless Dax

Have you ever met someone, and immediately known you would be great friends? Well, that's how we felt the first time we met our awesome and adoptable new buddy, Dax. And you know what? We're pretty sure Dax gets that same feeling with everybody he meets. He is such a sweet and happy-go-lucky mancat.

 3 year old Dax came to PAWS when his family moved to a place where pets are not allowed. He was really nervous here at first, but has quickly discovered that the humans here are really nice, and the sources of good things like food, pets and scritches, playtime, and catnip! Dax is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He gets along with other nice cats, but could also be happy as your one and only buddy, if that's how you roll. If you're looking for a new BFF, Dax may just be the kitty for you!

Potter's Easy Like Sunday Selfie

Our super handsome buddy, Potter, volunteered to take this week's selfie. As you can see, this housepanther can multi-task with the best of them, and he combined his selfie with some "Easy Like Sunday" flair. Well done, Potter!

Potter is super friendly and outgoing, but ended up at PAWS because he was not getting along with the other cat in his home. He loves attention from people, but must be your one and only furry friend.

Potter is about 5 years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. His cage card says that he has had issues with peeing outside of the box in his two former homes (even when he was an only cat). We have not seen that yet at the shelter, but Potter really needs an experienced and patient adopter who can work to re-train him on little box usage, possibly by starting him in a small room/cage/space, and then slowly expanding his space. He's been medically checked out, and he's fine physically. We know there is a perfect, loving and patient forever home out there for this guy ... we just have to find it! Until we do, Potter will be loved and cared for by the humans at PAWS.💖

(Almost) Wordless Wiggy

Did you know that only 20% of orange cats are females? It's true. But that's just one of the things that makes our pretty pal, Wiggy, so special. She also happens to be super friendly, and at three years old, is a purr-fect mix of laid back and playful. 💕

Wiggy is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She loves people, and enjoys getting attention and being pet. One thing that Wiggy is not a fan of is other cats, so she should definitely go to a forever home where she is your one and only. She's so ready to find her happily ever after. Greta's Sunday Selfie

Today's contestant on the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop is our gorgeous and adoptable friend, Greta. As you can see, this ladycat knows a thing or two about taking a selfie! 😺

Greta, who is 9 years young, ended up at PAWS after her family moved to a home where pets were not allowed. She's still trying to figure things out at the shelter, but is definitely adjusting and enjoys being petted by her friends here (volunteers and staff). She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. With the progress she's already made, we're confident Greta be an amazing best friend for whoever adopts her. She'll do best in a quiet home, without other pets or small children. Nothing wrong with that, right? It just equals more love for Greta (and you)!

(Almost) Wordless - Huey Can Fly (w/video)!

Playful and outgoing Huey is about two years old, and came to PAWS after he was found as a stray. He loves being petted and enjoys spending time with people, but can be feisty when overstimulated. Because of this, he would do best in an adults-only home with experienced pet parents. Huey really is a great boy, and will be a wonderful best friend for a special someone. Could it be you? 

Brother Selfies - Jerry and Newman

Unlike their namesakes on Seinfeld, adorable and adoptable brothers Jerry and Newman love each other very much. SO much so that this bonded pair must be homed together.

 Jerry and Newman are still a little bit shy at PAWS after being raised in a foster home for two months. But these 6 month-old siblings are gaining confidence with every passing day! Jerry now enjoys being pet by people he knows, Newman is getting there, and both are sweet, curious and playful. We are utterly confident that they will blossom and be a wonderful addition to a loving home. They are both neutered, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Jerry and Newman are so ready to be discovered by their happily ever after. Is it with you?

(Almost) Wordless Boyce

Check out these glamour shots of our new friend, Boyce. Talk about photogenic. It's like he knows just how to pose so that you can see his great cow cat markings, adorable pink nose, magnificent whiskers, and sparkling eyes. The best part of all might just be that Boyce is also beautiful on the inside. He's friendly, curious, playful, and more.

 

Sadly, Boyce came to PAWS because he was not getting along with the other animals in his home. We don't know the details, but we're told he'd be happiest in a home where he is the only pet. Boyce wants everyone to know not to worry about the "only pet" thing, and that he's got so much love to give whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. In fact, this kitty absolutely adores having attention and being pet, and loves people of all ages. He's about 9 years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.
