Father's Day Selfies!

Hi, everybuddy! Gracie and Ava here. We're both looking forward to spending some quality Father's Day time today with our Dad, Kevin/meowmeowmans (and Mom Tracey, too, of course). Just so you know, our beautiful mom is kinda camera shy, so we don't have selfie from her. But here are selfies from both of us kittehs and Dad. (Almost) Wordless Besties - Emily and Raya

Beautiful senior besties Raya (the tuxie) and Emily (the longhaired tortie) must have been adored in their former home, because these two gentle sweethearts absolutely love their human pals. We had the pleasure of hanging out with them on Sunday, and can vouch that these ladycats are wonderful in every way. 

Emily and Raya are a little shy at first, but they are SO sweet once they get to know you. They LOVE being petted and brushed. These two, who are both about 12 years old, were returned to the shelter when their owner was no longer provide care. Sad as that is, we are thankful they are at PAWS, where they are being loved and cared for as they await their forever home. Raya and Emily truly are best friends, so we want them to be adopted together. They're both spayed, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All they need now is a loving home.

Purrfect! You're a natural!

As you can see, our adorable pal Cloudy has the biggest, roundest eyes ever. They kind of give her a perpetually surprised look, but don't be fooled. This one year-old ladycat is one smart cookie, who has already learned quickly that the PAWS humans are sources of good things like love, food and catnip. She enjoys being pet and is really playful. Cloudy is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet her today, and fall in love!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Church

Who's handsome, gentle, and gray all over? That would be our buddy Church!

Church is a super sweet mancat who wound up at PAWS because he was being bullied by some of the other cats in his former home. We are really glad he's here, where he's safe and loved as he waits to find his happily ever after. This one year old loves being pet and receiving attention from people he trusts, and even likes other nice cats in spite of his past bad experiences. In short, he's awesome. Church is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All he needs now is a new best friend. Is it you?

 

Zarina's Sunday Selfies

This is our brand new pal, Zarina, who is a super friendly Sphynx cat. In my nearly 23 years volunteering with PAWS, Zarina is the first Sphynx I've have the opportunity to photograph. As you can see from her awesome Sunday selfies, she made my job pretty dang easy.

Zarina is so new to the shelter that we don't yet have a ton of information about her. What we DO know is that she's outgoing and curious, and that she loves people. More to come!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Gio

This is our sweet, gentle and adoptable buddy, Gio. Isn't he handsome? 

Sadly, this super friendly guy came to PAWS after his owner passed away. He loves being petted and hanging out with his human pals. He's been an only cat his entire life, but he is so easygoing that we think he'd be fine with other kitties with a slow intro. Or he could be your only cat, if that's how you roll. 10 year-old Gio is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Just look at him .. all dressed up in that tuxedo, and ready to meet his new best friend. Is it you?

 

Cora's Sunday Selfie

It's hard to believe another week has passed, and that it's already time again for the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our buddies at The Cat on My Head. Not that we're complaining. We always enjoy hopping along, and love that it gives some of the PAWS cats, like beautiful Cora, a chance to show off their selfie-taking skills. Isn't she lovely?

As you can see, Cora is a medium-haired housepanther with long and magnificent whiskers. What you may not see just from her photos is that this petite ladycat also happens to be a sweetheart through and through. She loves being pet and visiting with her human pals.
