Lilly's Sunday Selfie

This week's Sunday Selfies are brought to you by our beautiful and adoptable friend, Lilly. We're so happy she stepped up to show everyone her baby blues, as it's a clear indication that she's feeling more and more confident. Just last week, she was nervous about looking directly at the camera, and it showed in all the photos we took of her. But what a difference a week makes, right? Her selfies turned out great!

Lilly is about 8 years old, and ended up at PAWS when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. She likes people, and gets along with other nice cats, but could also be fine as your one and only. Come meet Lilly today, and fall in love!

Morey is about three years old, and available for adoption at PAWS. He loves people, and gets along with other nice cats. Word is that he'd also probably be okay with a cat-friendly dog. Morey is seriously that chill. Except for when he's on that catnip. 😹

 

Hunter's Sunday Selfie

As we so often do, we asked the adorable and adoptable PAWS cats who wanted to take this week's Sunday Selfie. Look whose paw shot up like there was no tomorrow. It's our super handsome pal, Hunter!

Who were we to refuse? After all, Hunter was so excited about it, and polite enough to raise that paw. So without further ado, here's Hunter the Cat's super duper Sunday Selfie!

He kind of knocked it out of the park, huh? No wonder he was so eager. 😸

Hunter is about 1 1/2 years old, and was saved from a high-kill shelter after being surrendered there by his previous owners. He's been through a lot, but with the love and care he is now receiving, his sunny disposition and playful demeanor are really starting to emerge. Hunter is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. This good boy is so ready to find his new forever family. Could that be you?

It may be cold outside, but our beautiful housepanthers Gracie (age 19) and Ava (age 3) managed to find some nice and toasty indoor sunpuddles to share this past weekend. 💖

Selfies with Layla the Manx

This is our brand new friend, Layla. You no doubt noticed the striking colors and patterns of her beautiful coat, right? Or maybe her big, round, inquisitive eyes?

You might have also noticed what you don't see on Layla. Namely, you don't see a long tail, since this pretty kitty is a Manx!  In fact, as you can see, Layla's got a cute little bunny tail!

Layla came to PAWS from another shelter with her kittens. who have all been weaned now. Momma Layla is all ready to be the baby in her forever home. She's playful, sweet and friendly. Layla is only about one year old, and is so ready to be find her happily ever after. Is it with you?

Wordless Wednesday - Belle

Meet our sweet and beautiful friend, Belle. Is she not gorgeous?

Found as a stray, Belle is about 5 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. This sweetheart is friendly and gentle, and loves being petted and brushed. She is fine with children, and seems open to being friends with the other cats in her room. We're sure she'd also be fine as the one and only Belle of your ball. 😸 Come meet her, and fall in love!

 

Selfies with Sunrise and Sunset

When we asked who wanted to try their paw at taking a selfie for this week's post, we were a little surprised when our new friends, Sunrise and Sunset, volunteered. After all, their information cards list them as being "friendly but nervous." But as you can see from their excellent selfies, they seem to be getting over their nervousness!

These handsome brothers are about one year old. They are neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. As mentioned, they are new at the shelter, but we can already report that they are nice boys who like getting attention, playing and being pet. They are bonded, and we would love for them to be adopted together. Sunrise and Sunset are waiting at PAWS to meet their new forever family. We hope it finds them soon!
