(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Umka

Meet our beautiful new friend, Umka. We're not sure how she got her name (there's a foreign language cartoon from the late 1960s about a little white bear with the same name), but we do know THIS Umka is adorable, and as sweet as can be. 

Umka says: "Less photos, more cuddles and scritches, please!"

Umka is about 7 years old. This grey tiger tabby British Shorthair is spayed, micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. She's on a special hypoallergenic rabbit diet, but is otherwise a healthy, happy ladycat. She's friendly, gentle, and talkative, and would do well in almost any home (including ones with children, nice cats or even nice dogs). To meet Umka is to love her. So come and meet her today!

Mio's Sunday Selfies :)

This is our super handsome new pal, Mio. He was (sadly) abandoned by his former owners, but is now safe and sound at PAWS while he's waiting to be discovered by his forever family.

Mio's still getting used to the sights, sound and smells of the shelter, but he's definitely a friendly dude. This outgoing mancat love attention, and enjoys hanging out with his human friends. Mio is about 5 years old. He's neutered, micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. Won't you consider giving Mio the loving home he so deserves?

Sunday Selfies - Roommates

It's time for the Sunday Selfie Blog Hop, hosted by our awesome friends at the Cat On My Head! So when we asked the PAWS Cats who would be willing to submit some selfies, we had not one, but TWO volunteers. And they just happen to be beautiful and adoptable roommates, Ally and Morticia.😺😸

Beautiful Belana is pretty new at PAWS.

As you can see, she's already feeling kind of comfortable in her temporary surroundings.

Easy Like Selfie Sunday - Pixel 😺

Meet our handsome and adoptable new buddy, Pixel. As you can see, this super friendly dude is equally skilled at taking it easy...

...and taking a selfie.

Pixel is also a fan of high quality lap time.

And he's a great (cat) furniture model.

Pixel is about 1 1/2 years old. He is neutered, micro-chipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Pixel gets along well with other nice cats, and really enjoys hanging out with his human friends. He'd most certainly be a great addition to almost any home. Maybe yours? :)

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Missy

Our beautiful friend Missy is a such a sweet soul. Can't you just see it in her beautiful eyes?

Missy ended up at PAWS when her owner got very sick and could no longer care for her. Judging from her trusting and gentle nature, this ladycat was very well loved in her old home. When we visited her on Sunday, she happily received all the pets, scritches and cuddles we lavished upon her.

This cutie pie is about 9 years old, and has so much love to give to the person lucky enough to adopt her. She is spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations. Potential adopters should be aware that Missy was front paw declawed at some point in her life. (For the record, we (and PAWS) are strongly against the barbaric procedure of declawing, and don't know why anyone would do such a thing.)
