As for that whole "selfie" thing, we'd say Leo's got it down to an art. :)

8-year old Leo is friendly and affectionate, and looking for a forever home! He gets along with some other cats, and is fine with children and grown up humans alike. (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Lancelot

Hi! My name is Lancelot, and I was brought to PAWS after being found as a stray. I'm still sort of getting used to the shelter, but it doesn't seem like such a bad place. The humans are really nice, and I love all of the attention they're giving me. So far, they've learned that I enjoy being pet, playing with the mouse on a wire toy, and hanging out with the volunteers as they talk, read or whatever.

I do get along with other nice cats, but would be fine as an only kitty, too. I'm about 3 years old, neutered, micro-chipped and current on my vaccinations, and have tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Everybuddy here says I'm super sweet and gentle, and a very good boy. They also say I'm ready to be adopted! Come and meet me, and see for yourself, okay?

Sunday Selfies - Maverick and Charlie

Handsome Siamese Maverick and beautiful Snowshoe Charlie are new at the shelter, so we can understand why they're both still feeling a little shy. Luckily for us, though, after some quality time they both felt up for helping us participate in the Cat on My Head's Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.

Maverick and Charlie are both 9 years old. This bonded pair must be adopted together. Both are super sweet, friendly and gentle, and would be great in almost any home where they will get lots of love and attention. Maverick is neutered and Charlie is spayed. They are both micro-chipped, current on their vaccinations, and have tested negative for FIV and FeLV.  Now all these lovelies need is a real forever home. Is it with you?

(Almost) Wordless Emily - with short video!

Do you remember our gorgeous, sweet and adoptable friend, Emily? And how we wondered why she was still awaiting her forever home? Well ... we're still wondering. 

Emily can be a little shy with new people, so she doesn't always show well to potential adopters. But we're hoping this video will help everyone see that she really is the most loving kitty ever! And why she's a real favorite among the PAWS volunteers and staff. (If the video doesn't play for you, you may also check it out on YouTube)

Happy Sunday! As we've done a few times before, we're mashing up our Sunday memes today, with a little bit of selfie, and a couple of sprinkles of easy. And who better to help us than our adorable and adoptable friend Juliet? She started things off with her selfie...

Juliet is about 1 1/2 years old. She's outgoing, playful, friendly, and loves attention. She's never lived with cats, but we know from her former family that she gets along with nice dogs. (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Paxil Cat

We're not really sure how our gorgeous new friend Paxil got her name. But the moniker actually fits her well. After all, the drug called Paxil is an antidepressant, and our cat pal Paxil is a kitty who spreads a special brand of happiness to everyone she meets.

This super friendly girl likes to play, and loves hanging out with her human volunteer buddies. She also gets along well with other nice kitties, and would make a great addition to almost any home. Easy Like Sunday Selfie - Ethel :)

Talk about photogenic! When we asked our new friend Ethel if she wanted to take part in this week's Sunday Selfies Blog Hop (hosted by our close pals at the Cat on My Head), she put on a veritable modeling clinic.

At first, Ethel was a little shy about coming out of her cage. But she's quickly figuring out that the humans here at PAWS are pretty nice (and that they give pets and scritches ... and catnip ... and food!). 😸

Ethel is about 2 1/2 years old. She is spayed, micro-chipped, current on her vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Ethel is playful and has loads of purrsonality.
