When pretty Erica first came to PAWS, she was timid and nervous. This was completely understandable, since this sweet girl lived in an apartment building basement -- for a whole year -- after being abandoned by her former humans.
Fortunately, Erica is a smart, observant and forgiving kitty, who's quickly discovered that the volunteers and staff at the shelter are kind and patient, and a source of pets, food and warm laps.
This petite ladycat is no longer shy ... what a joy to see her run to the door to greet us when we visit her room. :)
Erica is about 5 years old. She's spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Now that her faith in humanity has been restored, she's ready for her very own forever home. Is that home yours?

Did you know today is
Cat World Domination Day? The brainchild of our dearly departed friend,
Sparkle the Designer Cat, this special day is a recognition of something many of us already know ... that cats rule! (It also happens to be Sparkle's birthday.) Summer Samba (who now handles the blogging duties at Sparkle's blog) and her housemates Binga and Boodie are having a big
Cat World Domination Day bash today. Be sure to stop by if you can!
