Thank you, little buddy, for filling our hearts and home with love and happiness every single day!  And for making us smile no matter what it is you happen to be doing...

Moosey Health Update: Thank you to everyone who's been keeping Moosey in their thoughts, purrs and prayers.  He continues to do well (even though he's a little slower these days).  He's such a good boy about his twice-daily meds and insulin shots (Mom and Dad are very thankful for this).  After a recent checkup, Moosey's vet (Dr. L.) said,  "his numbers and bloodwork are good (even if he didn't have the medical issues he has)." :)

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Olga

Beautiful Olga is a super sweet girl. She enjoys being pet, lounging in sunpuddles, and watching "Bird TV" through the window of her room.

Olga loves other cats, and has learned from her volunteer pals that humans are nice, too. 

She would make a purrfect addition to a quieter home. Maybe yours? :)

Olga is about 2 years old. She's spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations. She is negative for FIV and FeLV.  Come meet her, and fall in love!

Easy Like Sunday Selfie

Goldie is about 2 years old. He's neutered, micro-chipped and current on his vaccinations. This super sweet boy does have a history of cystitis, so he is on a special prescription diet to help manage that issue. He is negative for FIV and FeLV. As you can see, he loves humans. He also gets along with most other cats. Now all he needs is a forever home.

Floofy Friday - Pumpkin :)

Here's our pretty friend, Pumpkin, wishing everyone a happy, floofy Friday!

Although Pumpkin is a very nice kitty, she tends to be timid around people she does not know. As you might guess, this reduces her chances for adoption, since she does not "show well" with potential new best friends. Those of us who do know her, though, see what lies underneath all of that beautiful, orange floof -- a sweet-natured girl who loves being talked to, brushed and pet. She just needs some lucky human to give her a chance! Pumpkin would do best in a home without children or other pets. She's about 10 years old, spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Won't you please give Pumpkin the chance she deserves?

Tuxedo Junction! (Opt to Adopt)

Pretty and playful Gaia is about 2 years old. She's SO sweet, and would be fine for a house with older children. Gaia does have a congenital heart defect, but is on medications to help manage that. She's spayed, micro-chipped, and current on her vaccinations. She's negative for FIV and FeLV. 

Spotty is a handsome, snuggly lap cat! This gentle mancat is about 5 years old, and was found as a stray. But he was definitely somebody's kitty, because he loves people.  He gets along well with other cats, too. Spotty is neutered, micro-chipped, and current on his vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Long-haired Chip is a little more outgoing than his brother Dale, but Dale has really come around lately, too. They both love to play, and get along well with other cats (as demonstrated in this picture by one of their roommates, Julia). Chip and Dale, who must be adopted together, are about 10 months old, neutered, micro-chipped and current on their vaccinations. They are negative for FIV and FeLV.

 

Ryker is a reserved, but super sweet mancat. He loves being pet and brushed, and gets along well with other kitties. He's about 6 years old, and would do best in a quieter home.  Ryker is neutered, micro-chipped and current on his vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

All these beautiful tuxies are waiting at PAWS to be discovered by their forever families. Come meet them today!

FURever Home Friday! :)

Some Happy "Tails" (Tales) from former PAWS kitties: 

"Max wanted to check in and say hi......he is sick of this heat and humidity but he LOVES getting up in the open windows and enjoys looking out the sliding glass door."

"It’s been four weeks since I brought Truffle home from PAWS. She adjusted well enough almost immediately. My other cat Tumble is an independent feline and there were implied rumors on Truffle's independence as well. Alas, there was no need to keep them separated as long as I was there to reassure that everything was okay. The very first night Truffle slept on the bed and things have been doing very well since then! She has claimed her favorite lounging and sleeping perch (which was Sweetheart's, another beautiful PAWS alumni that passed away allowing Truffle to continue the love in the family). It was amazing how easily she became a house cat again after 6+ years."

"Since the windows have been open, Molly's favorite place is in or near them. She loves tracking all of the birds and bees that fly by and is a very content little kitty. She is doing so well - we absolutely love her and cannot remember a time before she chose us to come home with."

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Jazmin :)

Super sweet, sleek and beautiful housepanther Jazmin is a real favorite of the PAWS volunteers. We all ADORE her!

She loves snuggles and warm laps, and she gets along with most other kitties.

Now all she needs is to be discovered by her new forever family.

Jazmin is about 10 1/2 years old.  She's spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on her vaccinations. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.  She's got so much love to give. And who doesn't need that? :)
