Look who raised his paw to volunteer for this week's Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. It's our super handsome and super gentle friend Mickey!
This lovable 1½-year-old boy first caught the eye of a concerned neighbor who noticed him waiting outside night after night. Sadly, his (sorry excuse for a human) former owner had put him outdoors permanently -- and during that time, Mickey badly injured his paw. A trip to the vet revealed a fractured, infected toe that needed to be removed.
But Mickey proved just how resilient he is. He healed beautifully, and now he’s ready to find the loving home he has always deserved. Quiet and a touch shy at first, Mickey blossoms into a purring sweetheart once he feels safe. He enjoys gentle pets, gets along with friendly cats, and has the softest, sweetest presence.
Mickey is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and fully ready for his forever family. Come meet this affectionate dude at PAWS today, and fall in love.
It's Sunday, which means we're hopping along in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, hosted by our pals at The Cat On My Head. Be sure to check it out to see who else is hopping along (or to join in on the fun)!

Awww, poor sweet kitty, being put outside like that. Good for the neighbor who helped him! He's so handsome and looks so sweet! A rising storm of purrs here for Mickey to find a good home soon!
What a well framed image you took of Mickey; such a dear and recovered chap needs a forever home worthy of his gentle calming presence. Much good karma to the neighbour for stepping in and helping him, and for all at PAWS, too.
