(Almost) Wordless Scarlett

While we do enjoy visiting every week with our sweet and beautiful friend Scarlett, it makes us sad that she is still waiting at PAWS to be discovered by her forever family.

Scarlett, who is about 11 years old, wound up at the shelter when her family moved and left her behind. She really loves the company of people, likes being petted, enjoys a good lap, and even plays when the mood strikes (laser toy, anyone?). She does sometimes nip because she's a little under-socialized. For this reason, she would do best in a home with experienced pet parents and no human children. Scarlett does not get along with other cats, so she would be most happy as a one and only kitty. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Sweet Scarlett just needs a chance. Could it be with you?

It is sad that Scarlett has been waiting so long. She doesn’t like other cats, and might be more even tempered in a home where she’s the one and only…
I’m glad you are featuring her. She is very pretty, as shown in these lovely portraits!

When some cats take longer to be adopted, a name change can work wonders.

Scarlett is beautiful and certainly knows how to do those Hollywood poses. It's really sad when cats are left behind after a move 😿 They are family. I hope she does find her home where she can be the only kitty and gets lots of love.

Scarlett looks sad, actually, herself. Bless her precious heart. I wish someone would come and take her home.

Poor Scarlett! I can never understand people moving and leaving their pet behind. I hope she soon gets a loving and understanding forever home.

Beautifully and aptly named and hoping her forever home comes to her soon, as it should.

I thought I commented on this earlier,, but with blogger sometimes they want you to do the word verification thing.

I can't believe someone would leave a family member behind. I hope she finds the very best forever home and is never left behind again.

What a beautiful girl you are Scarlett. You deserve to be the one and only Queen of the purrfect furever home.

We could never ever leave one of our family members behind. Scarlett I would adopt you in a second, but our rescue cat Lucy won't allow any other cat but her in the house. I sure hope someone comes along soon! You deserve your own home with people who love you.

Scarlett deserves a happy home. What pretty furs.

I would take her as a pet if I could. She looks somewhat sad, she was abandoned so no wonder. Hope she finds a good home for her Golden Years. Meow!

Scarlett is magnificently beautiful. We hate that she cannot find her forever home. Cooper is a nipper, which we think is why he was abandoned. We bet a new home would end Scarlett's nipping. It always amazes me when people give up a cat after having it for such a long time. Sending this darling lots of POTP and good wishes that her forever home comes through soon.
