We had so much fun getting to know this happy, relaxed and snuggly kitty. 7 year-old Sable is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Grant

It's kind of ironic that this week's (Almost) Wordless Wednesday star is our handsome buddy, Grant. That's because when he first came to PAWS, Grant would yowl for attention, and was anything but wordless. It turned out he was just lonely! Whenever his human pals would visit him, he'd quiet right down. And now that he's in an open room with other kitties, he's quietly happy as a clam.

Grant is about 8 years old. He's very social, and loves people and other kitties. As a result, he will do best in a home where he will get lots of attention and have the company of others. (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Casper

Here's our new friend Casper, wishing everyone the happiest of Wednesdays. And just look at him. How could you not be happy after taking a gander at this sweet and adoptable cutie? 😸

Casper is only about 8 months old. He can be a little shy around new people, but once he gets to know you, he loves being petted, brushed and playing. Casper is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and is negative for FIV and FeLV. He gets along with other nice cats, and even lived with a dog in his foster home (they got along fine). Casper has so much love to give! Now all he needs is a chance.

Ramona's Sunday Selfies

Look who volunteered when we asked who wanted to represent the PAWS cats in this week's Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. It's our friendly pal, Ramona, she of the piercing eyes, awesome whiskers, and cool markings on her legs and toes. She did a great job with her selfies, don't you think?

Our new friend, Emerald, is breathtakingly beautiful. And we're not just talking about her amazing fur or luminous eyes. This ladycat also happens to be as sweet and gentle as they come.

Emerald is about 3 years old. She's friendly and outgoing, and loves her human friends. She's not too fond of other animals, though. But that just means that whoever is lucky enough to adopt her as their one and only will get her undivided attention. 😸 Emerald enjoys being pet, brushed and engaging in conversation.  She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Sunday Selfies - Constantinople!

His name may be tough to spell, but that's about the only thing that's tough about our new pal Constantinople. Can't you just see how gentle and sweet he is in his selfies? 💖

Constantinople came to PAWS after being rescued from a high-kill shelter in New York City. We're so glad he's here, where he is getting the petting and attention he craves and deserves from his human friends. Constantinople is about 5 years old, neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.  This adorable mancat is waiting patiently to meet his new BFF. Is it you?

Pixie and Dixie came to PAWS after their owner was evicted. These gentle kitties are bonded, and must be adopted together. They get along well with other cats, love being pet and brushed, and are fine with humans of all ages. They are about 10 years old, spayed, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Pixie and Dixie would do best in a quieter home, and are ready to find their new happily ever after. Is it with you?

Stevey is about 3 years old, and ended up at PAWS after being found as a stray. He enjoys being petted and brushed, and loves hanging out with his human buddies. He also gets along well with other nice kitties, and is fine with children, too. Stevey is partially blind from what our vet believes is a neurological condition, BUT he can see well enough to get in and out of his cage, get up on a cat condo and play -- he LOVES the laser toy. He's neutered. microchipped, current on his vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. All this awesome dude needs now is a forever home. Is it with you?
