Despite his name, our pal Stingy is NOT a miser when it comes to sharing his love and affection. In fact, he's one of the sweetest, most gentle cats we know.
We bet you're wondering about Stingy's name. Well, he ended up at PAWS after being found as a stray, and the vet discovered an abdominal blockage during his medical exam. It turns out the tuxedo mancat had somehow, some way, ingested a few coins! And that's how this handsome dude got his name. The good news is that the coins have since been removed, and Stingy is 100% healthy and ready to find his forever home.
That face! :) |
Stingy is about 3 years old, neutered, micro-chipped and current on his vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet this fine fellow, and fall in love!

I hope Stingy finds a home (and a new name) soon!
Such a sweetheart. I'm hoping his new owner will soon arrive on the scene!
Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/08/sweetheart-in-sepia.html
Stingy has very gentle eyes. Ouch on those coins! Does he have frost bite on his left ear? Rosie's ears look a bit like his - and she suffered frostbite before we rescued her.
Such a handsome guy! Good luck pal, we sure are purring for you!!!
I'm glad he was rescued and is now safe at PAWS, but I hope his stay at the shelter is brief!

Poor guy must have been hungry to eat coins. I hope this cutie gets a forever home soon.

Good meowning, awesome darling. May you be happy and well forever and ever. xoxoxo
Coins, huh? I wonder what he was saving up for! I hope he finds his forever home soon!
We wonder if he ingested the coins because he was starving. Or he wanted to pay his way when he was rescued. Whatever the reason, we're glad he's healthy and ready for adoption.
He sounds of a Dollar Bill, I think everyone wants him :D Good Luck Pawkisses to find a furrever home soon :) <3
He's quite handsome and already dressed to impress I bet someone takes this little guy home soon. About the coins—scary.
Wow! Mister miser there, keeping his coins too close for anyone's comfort. Our Mom loves Stingy's ears and hopes his forever family is on their way to scoop him up.
