It's the most wonderful time of the year ... for bringing a little extra joy to shelter kitties. That's why we're participating in the
Santa Kitty Toy Hop organized by Summer and her human at
Sparkle The Designer Cat. Cat bloggers around the world are taking this opportunity to donate to their local shelters, and sharing about their experiences doing so.
We elves put together a package of toys, catnip, games, scratchers, tunnels, snacks and food for the cats at
Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), the shelter at which we volunteer every weekend. We had a great time delivering the goodies yesterday. Here are some pictures of the fun...

Oh what fun it was to watch the shelter kitties enjoying their new stuff. Maybe, just maybe, we made life a little brighter for the PAWS cats while they're waiting for their forever homes. Happy holidays, everyone! :)

What lovely gifts for these sweet kitties..we have some plans here too in order to see some shelter pets have a happy Xmas...and let's hope Santa can bring peeps with open arms ready to adopt! well done sweeties loves Fozziemum xxx and pee ess love the xmas card and we will proudly accept it :)

The cats looked pretty tired Sunday morning I was there for the cleaning shift. They must have partied very hard Saturday night. Sweet to see so many of them stimulated and playful.

Oh Oh! Wes boughted stuff for the cats in the shelter back in BC. Wes won't be delivering until the 23rd (after we gets home for Christmas) Lets hope Mommy does NOT forget the camera this year!
Thanks yous for sending mes purrs. Me is feeling A-OK (not wonderful yet). Yes mes gots a UTI. They is sending my stolen urine out for testing, but mes pretty sure the antibiotics they sticked into me will do the job!

That's a lot of pressies. I'm glad the shelter cats had a blast playing with their new toys.
The shelter cats are already living a good life, we can see. We hope the presents will bring them new stimulation and joy. Personally, my favourite thing is the tunnel. I hate having it packed up for any reason. My tunnel is about five foot long.

Mom finally got a package in the mail today for Swizzle with a few gifts. She should get it the day after Christmas.
