Buddy is another of our friends for whom the transition to shelter life has been difficult. But love and kindness are powerful tools, and this mancat is gaining confidence and learning that the PAWS volunteers and staff are A-okay. He and I had a real nice time hanging out last weekend!
We have no doubt that Buddy would absolutely blossom in a forever home. This handsome dude is about 9 years old, neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He'd do best in an adult-only home, and could be perfect for a retiree. :)

I think so many kitties just need a little patience and time to adjust. I learned that with Honey anyways, she is just the sweetest cat! Good luck to Buddy on finding a purrfect home.

Buddy is a beautiful boy. We are sorry to hear that he has had a hard time but we are so happy that he is coming around with all the caring and love of PAWS. Huge purrs for him to find the perfect home where he feels safe and loved and cherished.

Buddy behaves very differently when he's out of his cage. Sunday when he was out, he was rubbing on my legs and was surprisingly sweet! Some cats feel safer in the confined area of the cage. I don't think he's one of them. But we'll all make him feel safe and comforted until his new family finds him.

Hello Kevin! Why thank you for kind words! Yes I really do love Joker. I have passed so much with him that I feel like it is my duty to help him conquer his fears. It is so sad to see him so fearful, and reactive at times I just don't want to give up on him.
