James came to PAWS from another rescue that had to close its doors, and while we’re sad for that organization, we’re beyond glad that James found his way to us. (He’s pretty happy about it, too!) This charming boy has a soft, sleek, and stunning coat that’s a work of art -- spotted and striped? Yes, please! 😻

Two-year-old James is the definition of a lap cat. He loves humans, gives Grade-A snuggles, and has a purr that could power a small village. He also gets along wonderfully with other kind and respectful feline friends. Easygoing, affectionate, and quiet -- James is one seriously good dude.

(Almost) Wordless Berkley

Check out our amazing and adoptable friend Berkley!

Even though she’s only about a year and a half old, this little ladycat already has quite a story to tell. 

Berkley was out there on her own, making her way through the world as a stray, when a kind soul finally found her. One of Berkley's ears was badly damaged, likely from her time on the streets. But she was a trooper through it all. When she was spayed, her rescuers tipped her other ear, too — now she’s got a matching set of adorably short ears, and we think they suit her just fine.

Berkley's still getting used to life at PAWS — all the new sights and sounds can be a little overwhelming — but she's learning quickly that people are pretty great. When she’s not busy playing (and she does love to play), she shows off her sweet and gentle side. We’re not sure yet how she feels about other cats, but we know she likes people a whole lot.

Berkley is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and more than ready to start the next chapter of her life that features a loving home of her very own. Could it be with you?

Rocky, who is about one year old, loves people of all ages and gets along well with other friendly cats. Whether he’s chasing a toy mouse or curling up for cuddles, Rocky brings happiness wherever he goes.

(Almost) Wordless Arina

Our new friend Arina is a true heart-stealer. With her long white coat splashed with the most perfect patches of orange and black, she’s purrfectly stunning. But Arina isn’t just beautiful. She’s also gentle, friendly, and snuggly!

 

Arina is about 1 ½ years old, and ended up at PAWS after she was abandoned by her (good-for-nothing) previous humans. We’re heartbroken she was left behind, but so happy she’s here now, where she’s safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who adore her. She absolutely loves human company and enjoys spending time with other nice kitties, too.

Arina is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find her forever family. Could it be yours?

(Almost) Wordless Mini Me

If you're in search of some midweek cuteness, you don't need to look any further than our adorable and adoptable friend Mini Me.

This 10-month-old has come a long way to get to where he is today. Born alongside his two sisters to a loving mom cat, Mini Me spent his early days in an unfinished basement, where he and his family were sadly neglected and not given the socialization they needed. By the time help arrived, his sisters and mom were expecting kittens of their own, and Mini Me -- who’s the spitting image of his mama -- was pretty wild.

But good boy Mini Me’s story took a happy turn when he moved into a foster home. There, he learned that people can be kind and loving, and he started to open up. He can still be a little shy with new people, but we can attest to the fact that he's wonderfully sweet and snuggly if you just give him a minute. He also enjoys the company of other nice kitties.

Selfies by Bob

If you're looking for a handsome and utterly sweet cat with a heart of gold, our sweet pal Bob might just be the perfect match for you!

Bob, who is about a year old, was rescued from a feral cat colony by a kindhearted caretaker who could tell right away that this dude wasn’t feral at all. He’s sweet, snuggly, and adores being around people. He's also great with other nice cats and would do well in a home with friendly feline siblings.

Combine Bob's amazing personality with his adorable bob-tail and splashes of gray markings that look like he was brushed with watercolor paint and you've got a mancat who's absolutely purr-fect. Think Bob might be your perfect feline friend? Come meet him at PAWS, and see just how special he is!

Like our beloved Target, Bob has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.
