(Almost) Wordless Mini Me

If you're in search of some midweek cuteness, you don't need to look any further than our adorable and adoptable friend Mini Me.

This 10-month-old has come a long way to get to where he is today. Born alongside his two sisters to a loving mom cat, Mini Me spent his early days in an unfinished basement, where he and his family were sadly neglected and not given the socialization they needed. By the time help arrived, his sisters and mom were expecting kittens of their own, and Mini Me -- who’s the spitting image of his mama -- was pretty wild.

But good boy Mini Me’s story took a happy turn when he moved into a foster home. There, he learned that people can be kind and loving, and he started to open up. He can still be a little shy with new people, but we can attest to the fact that he's wonderfully sweet and snuggly if you just give him a minute. He also enjoys the company of other nice kitties.

If you're looking for a handsome and utterly sweet cat with a heart of gold, our sweet pal Bob might just be the perfect match for you!

Bob, who is about a year old, was rescued from a feral cat colony by a kindhearted caretaker who could tell right away that this dude wasn’t feral at all. He’s sweet, snuggly, and adores being around people. He's also great with other nice cats and would do well in a home with friendly feline siblings.

Combine Bob's amazing personality with his adorable bob-tail and splashes of gray markings that look like he was brushed with watercolor paint and you've got a mancat who's absolutely purr-fect. Think Bob might be your perfect feline friend? Come meet him at PAWS, and see just how special he is!

Like our beloved Target, Bob has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.

(Almost) Wordless Trevor

We're most definitely big fans of housepanthers -- including our awesomely adoptable friend Trevor!

 

In a story we hear far too often, Trevor was abandoned outside and left to fend for himself. He somehow found his way to a feral cat colony, where the kind people caring for the cats quickly realized that this dude was way too trusting of humans to be feral. Trevor, who is about one year old, is a very sweet boy who loves his human friends and gets along well with other nice kitties. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and waiting at PAWS to find his new best friend. Could that be you?

Mario's Selfie

Check out our awesome and adoptable buddy Mario! In addition to being dashingly handsome, this very good boy is incredibly friendly, sweet, and gentle.

 

This affectionate young tuxedo showed up in a feral cat colony, but it was clear to everyone that he was way too friendly to be living life on the streets. Thanks to some caring humans, Mario is now safe, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready for his forever home! 💖

Mario absolutely adores people and gets along well with other nice kitties. He does have a mild (grade 2/6) heart murmur, but he’s otherwise a healthy, happy boy who’s ready to share lots of love with his new family. Come meet Mario at PAWS today! 🐾

(Almost) Wordless Turtle

We had the absolute pleasure of spending some time with the sweetest kitty this week. Meet Turtle! This quiet, gentle, and oh-so-affectionate mancat immediately stole our hearts. Just look at that adorable face, tabbilicious stripes, and cute white toes. Oh, and lest we forget -- he's also a genuine lapcat!

 

Turtle, who is about 2 years old, was found outside as a friendly stray, doing his best to charm the world one slow blink at a time. He’s the kind of cat who just wants to snuggle up close and purr up a storm.

 

Turtle does have a heart condition called HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), along with a grade 4/6 heart murmur. But don’t let that scare you -- he’s on a medication to help his heart work better, and he’s scheduled for a follow-up echocardiogram in June. We’re all crossing our fingers (and paws!) for good news. Through it all, Turtle remains his sweet, affectionate self -- quietly waiting for someone to see just how special he truly is.

This wonderful boy is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Turtle loves people of all ages and gets along well with other nice kitties.
