Selfies by Bonita

We think our sweet and beautiful friend Bonita looks a lot like the main character in the Oscar-winning movie "Flow" in this photo. Do you see the resemblance?

While she may not actually be the cat in that movie, we can tell you that Bonita is an honest-to-goodness superstar. She's affectionate and gentle, and was this year's runaway winner in the "Best Momma to Seven Adorable Kittens" category. Yes, this tiny little ladycat birthed seven little housepanthers (who like their momma are sweet as pie and waiting to find their happily ever afters)!

 

Bonita, who is about 3 years old, was found alone and very pregnant on a cold and rainy Thanksgiving Day. She went straight into a foster home and gave birth to the septet of perfect little panthers you see above. She is now spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find a forever home where she can be the cherished and adored baby of the family. Come meet Bonita at PAWS today, and fall in love!

(Almost) Wordless Jasper

Check out our cute and adoptable pal Jasper! He may be a little small for his age, but anyone who's seen him play can tell you he's got a big and mighty purrsonality!

 

Jasper can be a bit cautious with new people, but is very affectionate once he gets to know you. We know he'll do super well in a loving home with active kitty who's just a little bit older (you know, to kind of show him the ropes). (Almost) Wordless Cashmere

This is our super sweet and beautiful friend Cashmere, who is as soft as gentle as her name.

 

This pretty girl found her way to PAWS after a kind human found her wandering the streets, alone and frightened. We're so happy she's safe and loved now while she waits to be discovered by her lucky forever family. As you might imagine, Cashmere can be a little bit shy with people she does not know. But she warms up quickly, loves being pet and getting scritches, and is a great purrer! We know Cashmere will absolutely blossom in a loving home.  She's about 1 1/4 years old, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find her happily ever after. Selfies by Five

We really enjoyed hanging out this weekend with our friendly, handsome, and adoptable pal Five. Don't you just adore his big round eyes, super stripes, extra front toesies, and adorable pink nose?

 

Five, who is about 1 1/2 years old, came to PAWS after he was found wandering on the streets and doing his best to fend for himself. He's so friendly that he was once most certainly someone's pet. We don't know how he ended up outside, but are thankful he's safe now, receiving love and care until he finds his happily ever after. This awesome mancat gets along with other kitties, enjoys spending time with his human buddies, is neutered and current on his vaccinations, and is so ready to meet his new best friend. So, what do you say? Come and take Five (home) today!

Like our beloved Target, Five has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.

(Almost) Wordless Avalanche

Ready to be pawsitively smothered with love, purrs, and an abundance of cuteness? If so, you've come to the right place, because our adoptable pal Avalanche is an amazing kitty with a personality as big as his name!

 

Rumor has it that Avalanche, who is about 10 months old, is a Scottish Straight. While we don't know for certain if that's true, we do know that he's gentle, outgoing, and joyously playful. (And yes, his fur is as soft and plush as it looks in these photos.) He adores humans and gets along well with other nice cats. Avalanche is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and waiting at PAWS to find his new best friend. Could it be you?

Our buddy Omelet sure is handsome. But that's not all. He also happens to be a super sweet, friendly, and adoptable!

 

This affectionate and playful two year old loves people and gets along well with other nice kitties, and would be a great addition to almost any home. Omelet is a true delight, and we really enjoyed hanging out with him this weekend (we're pretty sure he had a great time, too).
