We're not sure who named our buddy Momo, but we think his moniker (which means "peach" in Japanese) is pretty appropriate. It's true. This handsome dude is one peach of a mancat!

These "brothers from another mother" came to PAWS when their owner passed away. 💔 Despite that tragedy, Simba (3 years old) and Max (5 years old) have both adjusted well to life at the shelter. Full of love for humans and other kitties alike, these dudes are ready to find their new happily ever afters. Simba and Max are neutered, microchipped, and current on their vaccinations. Our wonderful friend Nicky is one of the nicest boys ever. And as you can see from his selfies, he's also devastatingly handsome, with the most amazing whiskers and eyebrows around!

Everyone at the shelter loves sweet, gentle Nicky. He was first rescued from life on the streets, but recently found himself homeless again when his human fell on hard times. Even though his road getting here has been a rough one, Nicky has maintained his purrfectly affectionate and gentle nature. He loves humans and gets along well with other nice kitties. (Almost) Wordless Casserole

As you can see from this photo, it's no exaggeration to say our adoptable pal Casserole has movie star good looks. And if you look closely, we think you can also see he has a sweet and gentle personality that make him just about purrfect.

Three year-old Casserole came to PAWS from a home that had way too many cats. This very unassuming and wonderful boy loves people and gets along well with other nice kitties. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to find his new best friend. Could that be you?

Handsome alert! Handsome alert! Just check out our adoptable friend Ashford, and you'll see we're not joking about him being handsome. 💖

He's also very sweet. This gentle giant really enjoys getting pets and attention from his human pals, and loves scritches under his chin and on his big cheeks. Ashford came to PAWS after being found abandoned outside as an un-neutered male. He has some scars that show he was picked on out there, but that's all behind him now. Ashford is such an amazing dude, and he's glad to be safe, warm, and loved while he waits for his forever home (we're glad, too!). He's about 3 years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready for his indoor happily ever after. Come meet Ashford today, and fall in love!

Like our beloved Target, Ashford has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.

(Almost) Wordless Mousse

What's black and white, and fluffy all over? As you can see from this photo, the answer to the question is our adorable and adoptable buddy Mousse! Just look at those awesome whiskers, cute white toesies, and big round eyes! 💖

 

Mousse, who is about 7 months old, is a very sweet and gentle dude. And although the unfamiliar sights, smells, and sounds of the shelter have been a little bit intimidating for him, his confidence is growing with each passing day. He already loves the company of other gentle cats, and is starting to learn that humans are nice, too! We have no doubt that Mousse will positively blossom in his forever loving home.
