Selfies by Phillipe

Look who raised his paw when we asked for volunteers for this week's selfie. It's our super gentle and friendly pal Phillipe! As you can see, he's a really good model.

Phillipe, who is about two years old,  was found wandering on the streets and fending for himself. Anyone who's ever met this sweet dude knows he must have been someone's pet at one time because he positively adores humans. Life on the streets was tough for Phillipe, and when he first came to PAWS, he had bad flea dermatitis, was very thin, and had tested positive for FIV*. With love and good medical attention, his dermatitis is gone and he is putting on some good weight. He's such a good boy, and he will be a great best friend for some lucky adopter. Phillipe is neutered and current on his vaccinations. Come meet him today, and fall in love!

 

* According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets."

(Almost) Wordless Julius

We hope you're ready to be wowed, because today's post features our spectacularly handsome and amazingly friendly pal Julius. Check out his photos and you'll see what we mean!

Julius, who is about 2 1/2 years old, is a friend to everyone he meets. He's always the first to greet visitors to his open (cageless) room at PAWS, and gets along swimmingly with his kitty roommates. This snuggly dude also loves being pet and getting attention! Oh, and in case you hadn't noticed (we're joking, because how could you not?), he's got the most beautiful eyes around. Julius is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to find his happily ever after. Could it be with you?

Suki's Super Selfie

Our beautiful friend Suki is such an amazing kitty. We were so happy when she volunteered to take this week's selfie, and love how clearly it shows her sweet and gentle nature. 💖

Suki, who is a little over a year old, is a recent mom to five adorable kittens. She did an amazing job with them, and is now ready to find a home where she can be the beloved baby. Suki is a friend to almost everyone she meets. She enjoys hanging with her human friends and gets along with the other nice kitties in her open room at PAWS. Suki is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and waiting to be discovered by her forever family. Come meet her today!

(Almost) Wordless Paddington

And now for your midweek viewing pleasure, we present our sweet and adoptable pal Paddington. Isn't he handsome?

 

Can you tell how sweet and friendly he is from these photos? If so, hooray! If not, we will 100% vouch for the oh-so-purrfect Paddington. He's just about the friendliest dude around, who loves getting attention from his human buddies at PAWS and gets along famously with other nice kitties. You can't see it in these photos, but our amazing and adoptable friend Dmitry has a floofy bobtail. And that would make sense, as we're told that he is, in fact, and American Bobtail. As you can see, he's also super handsome and chill!

 

This solid dude is the former housemate of Anton, who shared his selfies about a month ago. The boys came to PAWS when their humans lost their home. That makes us sad, but we are truly thankful they are adjusting well to being at the shelter. Four year old Dmitry is outgoing and friendly, and gets along with other kitties. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to find his happily ever after. Is it with you?

What's black and striped and handsome all over? Well, in this case, the answer is our sweet and adoptable pals Chip and Peter.

These gentle and friendly brothers ended up at PAWS after a family member developed a serious health issue. Chip and Peter had been in the same home since they were just three weeks old, so it took them a little while to get used to the unfamiliar sights, sounds, and smells at the shelter. But they are definitely getting there with lots of love and attention from the volunteers and staff. We know they'll flourish in a loving forever home. Chip and Peter are bonded, and must be adopted together. We say that's a win, since it means 2X the love and joy! Chip and Peter are neutered, current on their vaccinations, and ready to be find their happily ever after. Come meet them today!

Kitten Bro Selfies - Buckeye and Nike

Creamsicle brothers Buckeye and Nike may be young, but as you can see, they already know a thing or two about posing for the camera.

These super sweet and lovable little cuties were found without a mom and brought to PAWS, where they are safe and loved as they wait to be adopted.
