(Almost) Wordless Bean Bag

For most people, the first thing that comes to mind at the mention of "bean bag" is "comfort." That's why we think our handsome and adoptable friend Bean Bag is purrfectly named. This dude may be new to PAWS, but he's already making himself comfortable while he waits to find his forever home.

Bean Bag is about 5 years old, and was found when he showed up in a managed community cat colony. It was immediately evident to the caregivers that Beanie was friendly and must have had a family at some point. He adores people of all ages and gets along really well with other kitties! We are glad Bean Bag is now safe, warm, and loved at the shelter. He's going to make a great BFF for some lucky adopter. Bean Bag is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to be discovered. We hope his happily ever after finds him real soon.

Bean Bag has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life! According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Yes, you read that title correctly. Today's selfies are by our beautiful and adoptable friend Cindy Clawford. As you can see, she's most definitely a supermeowdel in the making!

In addition to her obvious comfort in front of the camera, we're pretty sure Cindy's name comes in part from her amazing polydactyl front paws - check out those cute mittens! This ladycat is about six months old, enjoys being pet, and loves people of all ages. Cindy Clawford is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and ready to find her forever home. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Parrot

Our buddy Parrot is straight up adorable. His i.d. card says that he likes to sit on people's shoulders and heads. As you can see from these photos, this sweet boy also happens to be an accomplished lapcat!

If you think Parrot looks like love personified, you'd be right. He gets along famously with everyone -- humans, cats, and even dogs! He's about one year old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready to find his forever home.

Our adoptable friend Bubbles has the sweetest face ... and a purrsonality to match. Here, see for yourself!

This beautiful, gentle and friendly kitty was found wandering around outside of a local daycare center. It's clear she formerly had a home, as she was already spayed and trusting of humans. We don't know how she ended up abandoned, but we are thankful she's safe and loved at PAWS while she waits to find her real happily ever after. Bubbles is about three years old, spayed, and current on her vaccinations. She loves people of all ages and gets along with other nice cats. Come meet her today, and fall in love!

(Almost) Wordless Kitten Bros

If you were barely able to stand the adorable and adoptable sibling kittens in our last post, hold on to your seats. Because while we were hanging out with Snickerdoodle and Whoopie Pie, we were also hanging out with their roommates SpongeBob and Squidward. It's true! Can you imagine all four of these cutie pies romping about between snuggles?

3 month-old brothers SpongeBob and Squidward are extremely bonded, so they must be adopted together. The way we see it, though, that means some lucky adopter is going to get a huge double dose of love and happiness for life! SpongeBob and Squidward are sweet, gentle, and playful. Housepanther ladycat Snickerdoodle and her tabby brother Whoopie Pie are about 3 months old. As you might expect, that means they have some serious kitten energy and they love to play! But they are not one-dimensional kittens by any means; these sweeties also love snuggles when the mood strikes (as it did while we were hanging out with them ... so cute). They love people and get along fine with other kitties, too.

These siblings are a bonded pair, so they must be adopted together, but as we always say in such cases, that just means double the love! Snickerdoodle is spayed and Whoopie Pie is neutered, and they are both current on their vaccinations. They're so ready to find their new forever home. Is it with you?

(Almost) Wordless Merry

If you thought all that merriment stuff is old news now that the holidays are over, you would be wrong. Because today's amazing and adoptable PAWS cat is none other than our friend Merry!

We hung out with this sweetheart over the weekend, and we can tell you that she's even cuter in purrson than in these photos. Merry is about 11 months old, super friendly, and outgoing. She also happens to be good with other kitties, children, and dogs. And she's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. So, what do you say?
