(Almost) Wordless Aura

We think our adorable and adoptable friend Aura is purrfectly named. She emanates a sweet and gentle aura that belies her loving heart. In short, Aura is beautiful inside and out!

Aura is about two years old, and came to PAWS after she was abandoned by her former humans. To put it nicely, we are glad she's here now, where she is safe and loved while she waits to find her true forever family. Aura is playful, adores her human pals here at the shelter, and gets along with other nice kitties. She is also spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Kailani, who is only a little more than one year old, is a sweet and gentle young ladycat who found her way to PAWS while she was pregnant. She was the best mommy to her babies, and is now ready to find a loving forever home where she can be the baby of the family. Kailani really enjoys her human friends here, and gets along well with the other nice cats in her open room. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. (Almost) Wordless Softee

If ever there was a kitty whose personality matched her name, it would be our beautiful friend Softee. This little ladycat is soft, sweet, gentle, and an all around delight!

Believe it or not, Softee was born in a warehouse, where she lived until she came to PAWS. With her easygoing nature, she did okay in her former confines even with all the noise and activity. But she's all about being an indoor kitty now, and getting lots and lots of love and attention. Softee gets along well with other cats, and adores her human friends. She's about 3 years old, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Softee is so ready to find her forever best friend. Could it be you?

From welcoming all visitors to her room to playing with great aplomb and climbing to the very top of the cat tree with the greatest of ease, our adorable and adoptable friend Kiki can do it all. Now, we can also add "extremely adept at taking selfies" to the long list of things that make her a Renaissance cat. See for yourself!

(Almost) Wordless Spartan

Housepanther alert! Housepanther alert! Just look at our awesome and adoptable buddy Spartan. Isn't he handsome?

One-year old Spartan came to PAWS after some nice people found him wandering around in a parking lot. We can't imagine who would just abandon this big, friendly, and lovable dude. He adores his human pals here at the shelter and loves getting attention and being pet. (Just in case you're wondering ... yes, his coat is as super plush as it looks!) Spartan isn't so crazy about other cats, so he'd do best as your one and only. But as we like to say in cases like this, that just means more quality time for Spartan and whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. Sweet Potato Selfies

Our beautiful and adoptable friend Sweet Potato really lives up to her name. We can definitely tell you that this petite kitty is as sweet as pie!

It's no joke to say that Sweet Potato has come a long way. In fact, she found her way to PAWS all the way from Tennessee! A veterinary student from our area was working in a clinic in Tennessee when she met Sweet Potato, who was brought there as a pregnant stray. The vet student couldn't bear to see SP return to a life outside, and brought her back to Connecticut to find her a loving forever home. She gets along well with other cats, and adores people. One year-old Sweet Potato is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All she needs now is a new best friend. Could it be you?

(Almost) Wordless Kittens!

File it under, "Wow, that really happened?" Sweet and super playful siblings Bo Peep, Hamm, and Jesse each took a break to pose just so in the PAWS Room 1 cat tree. We're pretty sure we couldn't get them to cooperate like this again, even if we had 100 tries. 😂
