Selfies by Suzuki

Some of you may remember our recent post about adorable kitten Winnie, who was found in an abandoned RV along with a bunch of adult cats. One of the youngest of those adult kitties was our super handsome and gentle friend Suzuki. His eyes and face say it all. Can't you just see his sweet personality shining through?

Suzuki was pretty nervous about being at the PAWS when he first arrived, but he is making great strides with lots of love and care from the volunteers and staff (and other nice cats to interact with). He loves getting attention from his human pals; head and neck scritches are his favorites! We strongly recommend that one year-old Suzuki be adopted to a home where he will have nice kitty friends. He is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet Suzuki today, and fall in love!

(Almost) Wordless Kittens!

It's officially summer, which means we also happen to be smack dab in the middle of kitten season. On the plus side, we get to meet a whole lot of cute-as-a-button, short-term PAWS residents like Spike, Dru, and Giles. Are they adorable, or what?!

These three kittens are very playful, snuggly, and all around wonderful. All kittens at PAWS must be adopted with another kitten, so maybe these babies can go to one lucky family? Spike and Giles are neutered, Dru is spayed, and all are current on their vaccinations and ready to find their happily ever after. Come meet them - and all of the other kittens - today!

Beautiful Callie's Selfies

There are no two ways about it. As you can see from her purrfect selfies, our adoptable friend Callie is flat out gorgeous!

Callie was originally adopted from PAWS as a kitten. After some eight years, her former human found herself living on a boat and unable to take Callie along with her. Adjusting to life at the shelter has been difficult for sensitive Callie, but she's come such a long way with the love and kindness she is being showered with here. She loves getting head and neck rubs from her human friends, and we know she'll do great in a quiet loving forever home where she is the only pet. Callie, who is about 9 years old, is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She's so ready to find her new best friend. Could it be you?

(Almost) Wordless Winnie

As you can see from these photos, our adorable and adoptable pal Winnie is an amazingly beautiful kitten!

Winsome Winnie came to PAWS after being found in an abandoned RV filled with adults cats, and one tiny kitten. If you guessed that solitary wee one was Winnie, you would be correct! There was no momma cat to be found in the RV, so Winnie came to the shelter as a bottle baby. She is now growing up quickly and is ready to find her forever family. As you might imagine, 4-month old Winnie has lots of energy and would do best in an active home with other young cats and plenty of playtime -- she loves humans and gets along well with other kitties. She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet Winnie today and fall in love!

Noah's Selfie / Ava's Father's Day Selfie

This is our adorable and adoptable friend Noah. She can be a little shy with unfamiliar people, but she is super sweet, gets along with other nice cats, and loves being pet by her friends at PAWS. As you can see, she's also quite the model.

Noah is about one year old, and will flourish in a quiet home with other kitties. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. We sure hope Noah finds her forever home real soon!

Hi everybuddy! Mom Tracey and I are wishing my dad (Kevin, aka meowmeowmans) and all dads everywhere a very Happy Father's Day!. Dad and Mom say I am a gift to them every day, but I will be sure to give Dad Kevin some extra lap time today. Surely that will make his day especially happy! 💖 Ava

(Almost) Wordless Sambuca

If you're a fan of housepanthers, you're going to love our beautiful, gentle, and adoptable pal Sambuca. Just look at her adorable face and plush fur! Combined with her sweet and playful personality, what's not to love? 💖

Sambuca, who's just about 7 months old, came to PAWS from a home that had both children and other kitties. She got along fine with them all, and would be a great addition to almost any forever family. Sambuca is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Now all she needs is to find her happily ever after. Is it with you?

Selfies by Rusty

Meet our handsome, friendly, and adoptable pal Rusty. As you can see, this gentle giant really knows his way around a selfie!

 

Rusty, who is about 3 1/2, came to PAWS after being found as a stray who had been outside for quite some time. He's super friendly, so we are fairly certain he had a human family at some point. This sweet and wonderful mancat loves humans, gets along well with other nice kitties, and is neutered and current on his vaccinations. Rusty is so ready to find his happily ever after.  Could it be with you?

Rusty has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life! According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.
