Selfies by Rusty

Meet our handsome, friendly, and adoptable pal Rusty. As you can see, this gentle giant really knows his way around a selfie!

 

Rusty, who is about 3 1/2, came to PAWS after being found as a stray who had been outside for quite some time. He's super friendly, so we are fairly certain he had a human family at some point. This sweet and wonderful mancat loves humans, gets along well with other nice kitties, and is neutered and current on his vaccinations. Rusty is so ready to find his happily ever after.  Could it be with you?

Rusty has tested positive for FIV, but it's important to remember this does not mean he can't live a long and happy life! According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." FIV cannot be passed to other cats through casual contact, or by sharing food, water, or a litter box. Nor can it be passed to people or other pet species.

Crowley and his siblings came to PAWS from a house that had lots of cats and lots of children. As a result, these kittens are all pretty conifident, playful, and affectionate! Crowley, who is about 4 months old, is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He's so ready to find his happily ever after (hopefully with at least one of his sisters or brothers). Could it be with you?

Lapcat alert! As you can see, our brand new friend Hemlock is a genuine lovebug. He's very new to PAWS, and believe it or not, these photos were taken within 20 minutes of our first meeting! 💖

This sweet boy (don't you just love his adorable nose freckle!) is about 10 months old. We're told he has lived in a home with other cats and got along with them quite well. We can certainly vouch for the fact that he loves people! Hemlock is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Looking for a new best friend? (Almost) Wordless Lilo

Check out our sweet and gentle friend Lilo. Isn't she just the cutest?

Lilo is barely out of kittenhood herself, but when she first arrived at PAWS, she had an adorable little kitten in tow. Now that her baby has been adopted, Lilo is ready to find her own happily ever after! This affectionate and outgoing kitty loves both people and other nice cats, and would do well in almost any home. For whatever reason, Snapdragon's former humans left her behind when they moved. This makes absolutely no sense to us, because aside from being gorgeous, she is 100% affectionate, playful, and wonderful. And she loves people and gets along with other nice kitties. (Almost) Wordless Besties

If you do a search for "best friends forever," don't be surprised if you see an entry about our adorable, adoptable pals Ginny and Georgia. These two cuties are the epitome of besties!

11-month old Ginny (she's the torbie) and 7-month old Georgia (the brown tabby) were raised as bottle babies from different litters and have been inseparable ever since. Because they're so bonded, these ladycats must be adopted together. Ginny and Georgia can be a tiny bit shy with new people, but warm up once they get to know you. They're both incredibly sweet and gentle, and good with other nice kitties. Ginny and Georgia are spayed, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.
