Happy Mew Year!

With 2022 just about done, it's probably safe to say most of us are raring to get going with a new and shiny year. But before we get going, here's a little bit of happy to close out what's been for so many a very tough year. If you guessed we're going to share about a bunch of PAWS cats getting adopted, you pretty much nailed it. In fact, we're happy to share that some 500 cats and kittens graduated from PAWS in 2022. A whopping 45 of those adoptions (some of whom are in the collage below) happened in December alone!

Tabby cat Jinx and housepanther Minx are a bonded pair who came to PAWS from a house that had way too many cats. They are young (Jinx is 7 months old, and Minx is 5 months old), love people of all ages, and get along well with other kitties. They would be a wonderful addition to pretty much any home! Jinx is neutered and Minx is spayed. They are both current on their vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV, and ready to find their happily ever after. What better way to ring in the new year than by adding a double dose of love to your life?

Holly is only about one year old, and came to PAWS after being found as a stray. She adores her human pals at the shelter, but is totally ready to find her happily ever after. Three Stooges' Royal Selfies

Could the names of the three wise men have been Larry, Moe, and Curly? The reason we ask is that those just happen to be the names of the trio of adoptable brothers in this post. And while they do make us smile with their silly antics, these mancats are smarty cats who are fast learning they are safe and loved at PAWS, and that forever homes are waiting somewhere in the wings. We'd say that's pretty wise.

Larry, Moe, and Curly came to the shelter after they were found behind a taco truck. They are slightly shy, but as mentioned previously, are overcoming that pretty quickly with love and attention (and food and catnip!) from the volunteers and staff at PAWS. They are all neutered, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. They get along extremely well with other kitties, and as you can see, each of them is a delight. Check out our stunning new friends, Jake and Maggie. These beautiful, sweet, bonded, and adoptable siblings love everyone they meet. We really enjoyed hanging out with them last weekend!

As mentioned, Jake and Maggie are a bonded pair, so they must be adopted together. In our minds, that just means some lucky adopter is going to get a double dose of love and devotion! They are about 11 months old, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Jake is neutered and Maggie is spayed. They are good with other nice cats and children, too, and are so ready to find their happily ever after. Could it be with you?

 

Selfies by Ruffles

This week's volunteer for the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop (hosted by our awesome pals at The Cat on My Head) is our beautiful, gentle, and adoptable friend Ruffles. 💖

This lovely ladycat was abandoned by her previous humans at a water treatment facility. It's something we can't even begin to imagine doing. But as it turns out, it's actually when things started looking up for Ruffles. The kind people at the facility took care of her, and provided her with a makeshift shelter, but knew they needed to get her indoors before winter. And that's how she came to PAWS, where she is being loved and cared for while she waits to find her true forever loving home. Ruffles is about two years old, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She is so ready to find her new best friend. Is it you?
