(Almost) Wordless Mistletoe

What would Christmas be without a little Mistletoe? Now, before you think we're talking about that smooch-inspiring plant (which is nice and all, but...), we're actually talking about our beautiful, sweet, and adoptable friend whose name just happens to be ... Mistletoe.

 

We were aghast to learn that Mistletoe's former humans dropped her off for a vet appointment and just never came back. (Those people should definitely get lumps of coal in their stockings!) It's all for the best, we suppose, and we hope this happy-go-lucky 3 year-old gets her most fervent wish -- a true loving forever home -- really soon. She has been a very good kitty this year (well, every year, because she's just a good kitty)! She adores people and gets along well with other nice cats. Mistletoe is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. So, what do you say? Don't you want to add a little Mistletoe to your family in time for the holidays?

 

Artistic Roommate Selfies - Willow & Mittens

Beautiful housepanther Willow and gorgeous tortie Mittens are both as sweet as can be. As evidenced by these recent photos, these two sweethearts also happen to be supurrmodels, who know just how to strike a pose.

Cat Room 8 at PAWS is such a joy to visit. All of the kitties -- including Mittens and Willow -- in this open/cageless room are so gentle and sweet. One year-old Willow has the plushest fur ever, loves people, and gets along with other nice cats. If equally awesome Mittens looks familiar, it's because we posted about her a few weeks ago. Both ladycats are spayed, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Oh, and like we said up top, they are 100% sweet as can be. All they need now is to be discovered by their new forever families. We sure hope that happens soon!

(Almost) Wordless Mambo Smiles

Our buddy Mambo is one of those cats who seems to put a whole lot of happy on the faces of everyone who meets him. Maybe it's because this handsome mancat is blessed with markings that make it look like he's smiling right back at you!

In case you're wondering, it's not just an act with Mambo. This two year-old is as happy and gentle as they come! He ended up at PAWS when his family was no longer able to care for him, but seems to be adjusting well while he waits to find his happily ever after. He definitely enjoys the company of the volunteers and staff, gets along with other nice cats, and has even lived with dogs! Mambo is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come and experience Mambo's smile and shining purrsonality for yourself, and fall in love!

Lovely Luna's Selfies

Our friendly, gentle, and beautiful pal Luna sure does know how to shine for the camera. Just take look at her selfies! Isn't she gorgeous?

Luna also happens to be beautiful on the inside! She's as sweet as she is beautiful, which means she's a super snuggly lovebug who simply adores spending time with her human buddies (volunteers and staff) at PAWS. Luna is just about one year old, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She's so ready to find her happily ever after! Could that be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Halston

Our super handsome buddy Halston was kind of reserved when he first arrived at PAWS. As is the case with so many kitties, being in an unfamiliar place (even a nice one) can be pretty overwhelming. Happily, those days of being overwhelmed are now in Halston's rearview mirror. Don't believe us? Check out these photos we took over the weekend of this sweet and friendly gentle giant!

2 1/2 year-old Halston, who was found as a stray, is a big mush who loves people and gets along well with other cats. He is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FeLV. He has tested positive for FIV, but as we've written before, that does not mean he can't live a long and happy life. According to Best Friends Animal Society, "FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they’re well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets." All Halston needs now is a new forever friend. Could it be you?

Selfies by Blizzard

When you hear the word "blizzard," you probably think of those scary snow events no one wants to be stuck in, right? If so, you should meet our snuggly, handsome, and all-around awesome new buddy Blizzard who might just change how you feel about that word.

Blizzard, who is about 2 1/2 years old, was rescued after he showed up at a home in search of food. The kind woman who lived there searched far and wide for his owner, but no one stepped up to claim this wonderful fellow. Thankfully, he's now at PAWS, getting lots of love as he waits to find his happily ever after. From his sweet and friendly personality, we know Blizzard must have been someone's beloved kitty at one time. He absolutely adores people, and as you can see from the last photo above, he's a real lap cat. Blizzard is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. With the cold months ahead, don't you want a little Blizzard to help keep your lap and heart warm?

(Almost) Wordless Felix

We're not sure how it's even possible, but our adoptable buddy Felix is even cuter in person than in these photos. That's because he's got the most amazingly sweet and loving personality to match his good looks. You can kind of see it shining through in these pics, right?

Felix is 11 months old, and was brought to PAWS after a good Samaritan rescued him from a situation where his former humans refused to get him neutered and kept letting him go outside. It could really have spelled danger, especially for such a sweet and friendly cat. In the end, his people agreed that Felix deserved a better forever home. Thank COD! And now he's neutered, current on his vaccinations, negative for FIV and FeLV, and looking for a loving forever home. Felix is such a good boy - he loves people, and gets along well with other nice cats. Don't wait. Come meet him today!
