Selfies by Super Adoptable Tortellini

Check out our adorable, gentle, and super handsome friend Tortellini. He's been waiting for a while to find his forever home, and quite frankly we're left scratching our heads wondering why that is. All we can think is that he is slightly shy when it comes to people he doesn't know, staying at arm's length until he feels safe.

 

 

We wish potential adopters had the time to sit with him for more than just a few minutes. They would see what we do: Tortellini will be the most amazing best friend for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him!

 

Tortellini is about 1 1/2 years old, and came to us with his mama and siblings when their human family was no longer able to care for them. We don't know the exact circumstances of why they could not stay in their former home, but their sweet personalities and good health lead us to believe they were all very well-loved. Tortellini's siblings have already been adopted, and now it's this good boy's turn to find his new forever family. He is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He really enjoys being pet and getting quiet attention from his human pals. He also gets along famously with other kitties, and would be a great addition to almost any home. (Almost) Wordless Twinkie

Those of you who saw Sunday's kitten post might remember Zinger, Honey Bun, Yankee Doodle, and Snowball. If you happened to ask yourself what the mama of those little cuties looks like, wonder no more, because today we present you with (the kittens' mama) Twinkie! 💖

At only about one year old, Twinkie is pretty close to being a kitten herself. But after giving birth to her beautiful babies, this former stray is now spayed, current on her vaccinations, negative for FIV and FeLV, and ready to find a forever loving home where SHE can be the baby. Twinkie is a super sweet girl who loves being pet, snuggling, and spending time with her human pals. To know her is to love her, so come get to know Twinkie today!

Kittens Taking Selfies!

As we've heard is true in so many other areas around the country, kitten season here has been crazy this year. It's as though there's been a cornucopia of kittens coming through PAWS, with little sign of stopping. That said, some of the adorable babies at the shelter wanted to get in on this week's selfie action, and well, who were we to refuse? And for what it's worth, these little ones absolutely rocked their selfies!

Now that they've been fostered for a while, these little ones are back at the shelter, getting ready to be discovered by their forever loving families. They'll all be spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested prior to adoption. Meanwhile, they'll keep working on being cute (not that they have much to learn)!

(Almost) Wordless Nyla

Our adoptable pal Nyla is just plain misunderstood. This beautiful ladycat was returned to PAWS for aggression towards her former owners. We're not sure what happened there, but we can say from experience that she is friendly and totally enjoyed the time we recently spent together.

We will also say that Nyla is not a fan of going back in her cage after her allotted time out, but who can blame her? We would probably protest, too! She is now on an anti-anxiety medication, which has definitely helped reduce some of the upset she feels being in unfamiliar surroundings. It's been fun to watch her lovely true personality emerge. Nyla is so ready for a loving, patient, and understanding home (without small children or other pets). All she needs now is a chance. Nyla is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet her today!

Adorable. That's straight up what our new little pal Ducky is. But don't just take our word for it. Check out his pawsome selfies!

Ducky is only about 3 months old, but is so sweet and gentle. He and his best pal Hendrix (whom you can see in that last photo above) are not related, but came to PAWS at about the same time. Ducky was just one week old when he was found in a warehouse. Hendrix was sickly as a wee baby (he's fine now, thank COD), and rejected by his momma cat. The two boys were bottle fed together and did really well. Now they're ready to find their happily ever after! They're super bonded, so they must be adopted together. Ducky and Hendrix are neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come adopt these cute little housepanthers today!

(Almost) Wordless Tabitha

Our pal Tabitha may look a little bit grouchy, but we can assure you it's all an act. She of the adorably grumpy face is actually a friendly, happy-go-lucky, playful, and adoptable kitty!

Even though she's still under one year old, Tabitha first came to PAWS as a very young mama of a single kitten. She did a wonderful job as a mama! Now that her kitten has been adopted, Tabitha is ready to be some lucky adopter's baby. She loves people and gets along with other nice cats. Tabitha is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Now all she needs is a happily ever after of her very own. Could it be with you?

Our new friend Tyson knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to posing for the camera. Just look at those big round eyes, that handsome face, that plush coat, and those amazing whiskers! And do you know what makes him even more awesome? This sweet and snuggly dude is beautiful on the inside, too!

Tyson, who is about 5 years old, came to PAWS when his owner was no longer able to provide care. He is so affectionate and loving that we have to think he was well-loved in his previous home. Tyson gets along with other nice cats, and adores getting attention from his human buddies (can you say "lapcat?"). He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.
