(Almost) Wordless Guy and Juno

Look at these cuties! With their good looks and abundant charm, super siblings Guy (he's the tuxie) and Juno (she's the tabby) have quickly become favorites among the volunteers and staff at PAWS. Sadly, these little love bugs ended up at the shelter when their young owner suddenly passed away. It's surely been a shock for Guy and Juno, but they are adjusting amazingly well to being here. We hope they will not have too wait long to find their new forever home.

Guy and Juno are about one year old. Both are gentle and friendly, love people, and get along with other kitties. Guy is neutered, Juno is spayed, and both are current on their vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. According to their cage cards, they don't have to be adopted together, but we have our fingers and paws that some lucky adopter will take them both. Guy and Juno are so ready to find love again. Our sweet and adoptable friend Tiggy may be small in stature, but she's a absolute giant when it comes to taking selfies! When we were looking for volunteers to be featured in today's post, she immediately raised her dainty paw. And it's no wonder, because look at what a pawsome job she did!

Adorable Tiggy is about 9 months old. At some point, she had an ear infection that affected her ability to hold her head upright. She's shown a lot of improvement with treatment (as you can see from her selfies), but she may have a slight head tilt forever. In all honesty, we think it gives her an adorably quizzical look. And it most definitely does not slow this little ladycat down one bit. Tiggy loves people and gets along with other nice kitties. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come and meet this little queen of the selfies today, and fall in love!

(Almost) Wordless Sassy Turns a Corner

Those of you who have been reading our blog for a while may remember our sweet but shy friend Sassy. She has always enjoyed hanging out with her human pals, but has mostly done so just beyond arm's reach, chasing a laser, or playing with a wand toy. That's why we're so excited to tell you that with love, patience, play, and kindness, sweet Sassy has turned the proverbial corner. Look at how relaxed she is now!

On Saturday, we spent some good quality time with this amazing girl, and she confidently jumped up on the bench we were sitting on, and laid down right between us. She even purred happily as we gently petted her. This might sound normal for a lot of cats, but for Sassy, this was a huge and amazing leap forward. It also solidifies our conviction that Sassy will blossom in a loving and patient forever home. All she needs is a chance. Could it be with you?

 

Wallace and Casey: A 1 1/2 Selfie

About a month ago, we posted about our adorable and adoptable tuxedo pal Wallace, who has continued to blossom as he waits at PAWS to find his forever home. Just as the more outgoing cats in his room showed HIM the ropes when he arrived, Wallace has now stepped into the role of being a buddy for new arrivals. And what could be cuter than if one of those new arrivals is a mini version of Wallace? That's exactly what has happened, as you can see from these photos of Wallace and his new buddy Casey. 💖

These two mancats are about 4 months apart in age (Wallace is about 7 months; Casey is about 3 months), but have become fast friends. Both are neutered, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. They both love to play, get along well with other cats, and enjoy hanging out with their human friends. (Almost) Wordless Brothers

If you're a fan of handsome, sweet, and gentle cats, look no further. Because we've got TWO of them to introduce to you today. Brothers Rain and River are all those things, and more!

River and Rain ended up at PAWS when their owner could no longer care for them. These guys were littermates, and as you can see from the first photo, they can very often be found together (and must be adopted as a pair). Both are neutered, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. They love people (snuggles, pets, and lots of purring are always on the docket when we visit!), and get along famously with the other cats in their open room. Rain and River will be the most amazing best friends to whoever is lucky enough to adopt them. Come meet them today!

Best buddies Merlin and Penelope came to PAWS after their owner passed away. Despite the heartbreaking circumstances of how they found their way here, these two sweethearts are really adjusting well, and winning their way into the hearts of their feline roommates and human friends alike.

Merlin and Penelope are both about 5 years old, and it's abundantly clear they were so well-loved by their human. They are both friendly, sweet natured, and social. As you can see from the third and fourth photos, they love people and get along well with other nice kitties! Merlin is neutered, and Penelope is spayed. Both are current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. They are a bonded pair, so they must be adopted together, but as we always say in such cases, that just means double the love!  Check out our adorable and adoptable friend Jojo. Isn't she beautiful?

As gorgeous as she is, we're happy to tell you Jojo is more than just a pretty face! She also happens to be sweet, gentle, and a big fan of spending time with her human pals. She definitely likes being pet, is quite the accomplished purrer, and gets along with other nice kitties, too.
