(Almost) Wordless Bugsy and Strawberry

We had the pleasure this past weekend of meeting sisters Bugsy (she's the tabby) and Strawberry (the housepanther). They're both as sweet and gentle as they are beautiful. (And as you can see, these ladycats are plenty beautiful!)

 

Strawberry and Bugsy were originally found when they showed up in a back yard in the area. The nice man who lived there fed them until they felt comfortable about coming inside. Once that happened, they all lived happily together until the man sadly fell ill, and had to go in to the hospital. The girls were taken initially to animal control, but they are now safe and loved at PAWS. Strawberry and Bugsy are about two years old, spayed, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Strawberry is a little more social than Bugsy, but both are sweet, and enjoy getting love and attention from their human pals.They are such good kitties, who are so ready to find their happily ever after. Rena's Sunday Selfie

Check out our gentle and gorgeous friend Rena! We were delighted when she raised her paw to volunteer for this week's Sunday Selfie. She did an amazing job, didn't she?

As you can see, 5 year-old Rena has really great markings, including her magnificent and floofy black tail. This sweet girl was found as a stray, and from what we are told, has had a number of litters in the past. She was pretty dirty when she arrived, and really perked up after a bath. Now, Rena is spayed, current on her vaccinations, negative for FIV and FeLV, and ready to find a forever home where SHE is the beloved baby of the house. Could that be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Joe the Cat

What's soft and sweet, and white all over? If you guessed "a marshmallow," you wouldn't exactly be wrong. But the correct answer for today's question is actually our amazing and adoptable pal Joe the Cat. 💖

When he first came to PAWS, Joe was a little bit overwhelmed by all of the unfamiliar sights and sounds of the shelter. Fortunately, with lots of love and attention from the volunteers and staff, and other nice cats to play with, he's positively blossomed. We know he will make a great forever best friend for some lucky adopter! Joe is about 7 months old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and SO ready to find his happily ever after. Selfies by Cal

Cal's story is a little reminiscent of our Angel Sammy. Like Sammy, Cal ended up at PAWS after he showed up in a feral cat colony, and was such a good boy that the feeder knew he must have once been someone's beloved pet. We are glad Cal is safe and loved at the shelter now, so that he can find his very own happily ever after.

Cal is about 2 years old. As you might imagine, having been in a colony, he gets along pretty well with other nice kitties. He's been a little shy at the shelter, but has really started coming out of his shell the past few weeks. We have no doubt that in a quiet, patient, and loving home, he will become some lucky family's best forever buddy. Cal is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He's so ready to find his forever home. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Wallace

Check out our adorable and adoptable buddy Wallace! This sweet guy came to PAWS from another rescue that was overflowing with kittens. It's wonderful when organizations can help each other out whenever possible. Anyway, back to Wallace... 💖😸💖

Wallace, who is about 7 months old, was pretty wary when he got to PAWS. And who could blame him? As nice as the shelter is, there were lots of unfamiliar sights, sounds, smells, cats, and humans. Poor Wallace found it pretty overwhelming. But with lots of love, play time (he LOVES to play), and more outgoing kitties to show him the ropes, Wallace has really begun to come out of his shell! We know he will positively blossom in a loving and patient home, and will be an amazing best friend for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. Wallace is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet him today, and fall in love!

When we asked which of the shelter cats wanted to pose for this week's Sunday Selfie, look who raised her pretty little paw. It was our sweet and adorable buddy Roxy. Look at that beautiful face!

Before she posed for her excellent selfie, Roxy was doing one of her most favorite things in the world ... getting some lap time.💖

Roxy, who is about 12 years old, came to PAWS from a situation where she was not being very well taken care of. She is a true love bug, and we are glad she is here. She is adored by the volunteers and staff alike, and is receiving the love and care she needs until she finds her forever home (one with a lap, of course).

(Almost) Wordless Zeppole

Just when you thought we were done sharing about PAWS kitties named after Italian foods, here's our sweet, beautiful, and adoptable pal Zeppole. You may recall we posted last week about brothers Tortellini, Gelato, and Biscotti. Well, would you have guessed that Zeppole is their mama? It's true!

 

As you can see from these photos, Zeppole (who is just three years old) loves people. She's a big fan of hanging out with her human pals, especially if they're sitting down so she can get some lap time! Having come from a situation with so many other cats, she also gets along famously with other nice kitties. Zeppole is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.
