Selfies by Samantha

Look who raised her paw when we asked who wanted to take this week's selfies. It's our stunningly beautiful and adoptable friend Samantha. And as you can see, she did an amazing job of it!

Samantha is about two years old, and came to PAWS after being found as a friendly stray. She is sweet, super gentle, and loves spending time with her human buddies. Samantha is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She's so ready to find her happily ever after. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Sisters

Check out our new buddies Thora and Nix. While they're waiting at PAWS to be discovered by their new forever family, these beautiful sisters are living large in the brand new jungle-themed room decorated and designed by our good friends and fellow volunteers Maggie (check out her awesome blog here) and Rick. It most certainly seems like a purrfect room for tiger tabby Thora and sleek black housepanther Nix!

Before they came to the shelter, Thora and Nix were living in an unheated garage because their owner was allergic. We suppose that's better than nothing, but it's certainly not ideal. Luckily, these sweet ladycats were discovered by some nice humans who knew there could be a real happily ever after for them. Thora and Nix are about 3 years old, spayed, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. They are super sweet, friendly, and gentle, and love people and cats alike. We would really love for them to be adopted together. Come meet Thora and Nix today, and fall in love!

Beautiful Meringue's Beautiful Selfie

Talk about beautiful. This here is our gorgeous, gentle, and super friendly pal Meringue. As you can see, the camera absolutely loves her.

It was actually difficult to get photos that showed Meringue's whole body, because she loves people so much that she kept walking right at the camera. We can 100% attest to the fact that she gives great headbonks, and adores being pet. We can tell she was loved so much by her former human, who sadly passed away, which is how this sweet kitty wound up at PAWS.  Meringue is about 11 years old, and still has so much living to do, and so much love to give. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She gets along fine with other nice cats, but could also be happy as your one and only kitty. (Almost) Wordless Brothers

We sure hope you're ready for a double dose of cute, because that's exactly what tabby brothers Sonny and Chaz are bringing your way! Let's start with Chaz. As you can see, he's quite skilled at posing for the camera.

 

Next up is Chaz's equally adorable brother, Sonny, who was more about people time and less about posing this past weekend. He kept rushing the photographer (me) for some love and attention, which pretty much ruled out any portraiture. It did result in some fun shots of him, though.

 

Sonny and Chaz, who are about three months old, must be adopted together. They are neutered, current on their vaccinations, and negaitive for both FIV and FeLV. These brothers are sweet, social, and ready to find their forever family. Come meet them today, and fall in love!

 

Charlie's Selfies

Handsome alert! Handsome alert! As you can see, our buddy Charlie is one super good-looking dude. But guess what? This whisker-licious fellow also happens to be 100% friendly and sweet. It's true! Charlie is pretty much purr-fect. Now all he needs is a forever home.

Charlie is about three years old. As mentioned, he is a complete lovebug (Can you say "lap cat?"), who adores his human pals and gets along well with other nice kitties. Charlie is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. To know him is to love him, so.come meet Charlie today!

(Almost) Wordless Scarlett

While we do enjoy visiting every week with our sweet and beautiful friend Scarlett, it makes us sad that she is still waiting at PAWS to be discovered by her forever family.

Scarlett, who is about 11 years old, wound up at the shelter when her family moved and left her behind. She really loves the company of people, likes being petted, enjoys a good lap, and even plays when the mood strikes (laser toy, anyone?). She does sometimes nip because she's a little under-socialized. For this reason, she would do best in a home with experienced pet parents and no human children. Scarlett does not get along with other cats, so she would be most happy as a one and only kitty. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Sweet Scarlett just needs a chance. Could it be with you?

 

Pepper's Superb Selfies

Look who took some purrfect selfies this week. It's our super handsome, panther-esque pal, Pepper!

Pepper's eye color appears differently in this photo. Cool, huh?

Pepper, who came to us as a stray, is very friendly and outgoing! He adores spending time with, and getting pets and attention from, his human buddies. He also happens to get along well with the other nice cats in his open room at PAWS. Oh, by the way, Pepper asked us to let you all know that he could also be happy as a one and only kitty, if that's how you roll.💖

Pepper is about three years old. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He is on daily meds for a heart murmur, but please don't let that scare you off. He is happy-go-lucky, full of life, and ready to find his happily ever after. Come meet Pepper today, and fall in love.
