Smokey's Selfies

We're always excited when one of the newest PAWS cats volunteers its paw to take part in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. That's exactly what happened this week, when our sweet and handsome new friend, Smokey, raised his paw. He did great, don't you think?

Smokey is about 15 years old, and sadly, wound up at the shelter after his human passed away. He was pretty out of sorts at first (who can blame him?), and is still getting used to being here. But we spent some special and amazing time with him this weekend. Smokey has the loudest, rumbliest purr ever, and loves being pet once he trusts you. And oh yeah ... lap cat alert! He fell asleep on my lap, happy as can be. I'm fairly certain he would have preferred I stay there permanently (or at least until HE felt like getting up). Smokey is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He so deserves to find a new forever home. Could it be yours?

(Almost) Wordless Nugget

This handsome young fellow is our adoptable friend Nugget. Is he not adorable?

Pretty Kitty's Seflies

Our beautiful new friend, Pretty Kitty, is so new at PAWS that she doesn't even have a proper cage card. Suffice it to say, we don't yet know a lot about her. What we DO know is that she is sweet, snuggly, and adoptable. Oh, and that she takes a mighty great selfie.Want proof? Check out her snaps!

(Almost) Wordless Sisters - Graycie and Tabbytha

Check out our beautiful and super adoptable friends, Graycie and Tabbytha. Yes, they are sisters. And yes, they are both uber adorable and ready to find their forever family. 💖😸😸💖

These sweet sisters are about 3 1/2 months old. They are pretty bonded, and we would love to see them adopted together. Graycie is a little more shy, but always feels a little braver when sister Tabbytha is there to lead the way. They are both playful, and enjoy being pet and snuggled after they've finished playing. Tabbytha and Graycie are spayed, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet them, and fall in love!

 

Diamond and Ducky's Selfies

Look who raised their paws when we asked for volunteers for this week's selfies. It's sweet siblings, Diamond and Ducky!

Diamond and Ducky ended up at PAWS when their former human moved and just left them behind. (Editor's note: How horrible. There is just no good excuse for doing this.) Fortunately for these bonded siblings, a good samaritan who knew this person left these kitties to fend for themselves brought them to PAWS, where they are adjusting to life here, and getting ready to find their for real forever loving home. Sister Diamond is still a little bit shy with new people but brother Ducky is a total love bug. They are both gentle and sweet, and love to be petted. They will do so well in their forever home. They are about three years old, spayed/neutered, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet Diamond and Ducky today!

(Almost) Wordless Wendy

Our beautiful friend Wendy ended up at PAWS when her family had a new human baby. Sadly, Wendy was absolutely terrified of the baby when it began walking, and she was brought to the shelter in the hopes that she could find a true happily ever after.

Four year-old Wendy is an affectionate and friendly kitty who just wants a quiet, loving home without small children or other pets. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All she needs is a chance. Could it be with you?

Marshmallow's Selfies

We aren't sure how Marshmallow got his name (with his moniker, we kind of expected him to be all white), but we do know he's super friendly, playful, and sweet. (Maybe that's it ... he's sweet like a marshmallow?). Anyway, back to the subject of this post, namely Marshmallow's selfies. As you can see, he did an amazing job!💖😻💖
