(Almost) Wordless Polesitter

Here's our adorable and adoptable friend Etsy doing a little polesitting. We're pretty sure she was looking out that window to see if dinner was coming. 😸

When she was done looking out the window, Etsy came over and enjoyed some playing, followed up by some petting and lap time. She really is a wonderful kitty! She is still waiting at PAWS to be discovered by her forever family. Etsy is so ready, and so deserving of her very own happily ever after. Could it be with you?

Pretty Penny's Selfies

Look who volunteered to take this week's selfie. It's our beautiful and adoptable friend Penny! Isn't she adorable?

Penny came to PAWS from a home where there were too many cats. She was so overwhelmed and afraid when she first came to the shelter, and would cower and hide when we tried to interact with her. With love, patience, and kindness, though ... behold! Penny is now showing her sweet and gentle nature. And her advanced modeling skills! 💕

Penny, who is about 9 years old, is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.

She gets along well with other kitties, and will do well in a quieter home with humans who will be patient as she gets used to living there. Penny is worth the wait for whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. She loves being pet and is a champion purrer. Come meet Penny today, and fall in love! 💖

(Almost) Wordless Miss P

Meet our buddy Miss P, a super friendly senior kitty who came to us when her owner was no longer able to care for her. As her friends, we can vouch for Miss P that she loves spending quality time with her peeps, and she adores being petted. We can tell she was very well-loved by her former human. She's getting more comfortable at PAWS, and all indications are that she'll be a lap cat once she finds her new forever home.

Miss P is about 12 years old. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She really is a wonderful cat, and wants nothing more than to be loved and cherished by her very own human. Could that be you?

Jerry's "I've Been Gotcha'd" Selfies

About a month ago, we posted about our totally lovable friend Jerry. He's the sweet and gentle cat who has made so much progress since coming to the shelter, and who has become a favorite of volunteers and staff alike. Well, guess what? One of those said volunteers is about to make Jerry's dreams of a happily ever after come true. Word on the street is that Jerry is going home on Memorial Day with his new mom (fellow PAWS volunteer Kerri)! We were so happy we got to spend some time this weekend with Jerry before he is officially gotcha'd. These photos -- taken on Saturday -- show how far he has come from those days when he would hide his face and not make eye contact!

We will surely miss our little buddy, but we are over the moon that he has found his long awaited forever home. ConCATulations to you and your new mom, Jerry. We love you, buddy! 💖💕

(Almost) Wordless Tanya

Check out our beautiful and adoptable housepanther friend Tanya. She's waiting at PAWS to be discovered by her forever family. Could it be yours?

 

As you can see, Tanya actually has a little bit of white (what we like to call the "white badge of nicey") on her chest, as well as a patch of white on her tummy. Pretty cute, huh?

Tanya can be a little shy with new people, but warms up quickly! She loves being petted and enjoys spending time with her human buddies at the shelter. We know she will be a great best friend to whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. Tanya is about 5 years old, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She's all ready to go. Pandora's Selfies

Check out our new sweet and beautiful buddy Pandora! This super friendly girl came to PAWS after her owner got sick, and could no longer care for her. Her story is sad, but Pandora is a positive thinker, and is totally ready to find her new happily ever after.

Pandora, who is about 6 years old, loves to be petted, brushed, and hang out with her human pals. Like many cats, she also happens to be a professional napper! 😸 She is not fond of other cats, so she'll need to be your one and only. But you know what we say about that ... that just means more love for whoever is lucky enough to adopt this awesome kitty! Pandora is diabetic, but there is a chance her condition can be treated with diet alone once it is stabilized. She's so ready to find her forever home. Could it be with you? 💖
