Greta's Sunday Selfie

Today's contestant on the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop is our gorgeous and adoptable friend, Greta. As you can see, this ladycat knows a thing or two about taking a selfie! 😺

Greta, who is 9 years young, ended up at PAWS after her family moved to a home where pets were not allowed. She's still trying to figure things out at the shelter, but is definitely adjusting and enjoys being petted by her friends here (volunteers and staff). She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. With the progress she's already made, we're confident Greta be an amazing best friend for whoever adopts her. She'll do best in a quiet home, without other pets or small children. Nothing wrong with that, right? It just equals more love for Greta (and you)!

Playful and outgoing Huey is about two years old, and came to PAWS after he was found as a stray. He loves being petted and enjoys spending time with people, but can be feisty when overstimulated. Because of this, he would do best in an adults-only home with experienced pet parents. Huey really is a great boy, and will be a wonderful best friend for a special someone. Could it be you? 

Brother Selfies - Jerry and Newman

Unlike their namesakes on Seinfeld, adorable and adoptable brothers Jerry and Newman love each other very much. SO much so that this bonded pair must be homed together.

 Jerry and Newman are still a little bit shy at PAWS after being raised in a foster home for two months. But these 6 month-old siblings are gaining confidence with every passing day! Jerry now enjoys being pet by people he knows, Newman is getting there, and both are sweet, curious and playful. We are utterly confident that they will blossom and be a wonderful addition to a loving home. They are both neutered, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Jerry and Newman are so ready to be discovered by their happily ever after. Is it with you?

(Almost) Wordless Boyce

Check out these glamour shots of our new friend, Boyce. Talk about photogenic. It's like he knows just how to pose so that you can see his great cow cat markings, adorable pink nose, magnificent whiskers, and sparkling eyes. The best part of all might just be that Boyce is also beautiful on the inside. He's friendly, curious, playful, and more.

 

Sadly, Boyce came to PAWS because he was not getting along with the other animals in his home. We don't know the details, but we're told he'd be happiest in a home where he is the only pet. Boyce wants everyone to know not to worry about the "only pet" thing, and that he's got so much love to give whoever is lucky enough to adopt him. In fact, this kitty absolutely adores having attention and being pet, and loves people of all ages. He's about 9 years old, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Boyce is so ready to find his forever home. Could it be with you?

 

Our Pal Fluffy's Selfies

This week's selfie is courtesy of our super handsome friend Fluffy. As you can see, this long-haired housepanther knows a thing or two about posing just right for the camera.

 

Fluffy, who is about one year old, came to PAWS after being found as a stray. He really likes other nice cats but is still nervous at the shelter and with people he does not know. He's definitely making good progress, though, and learning to like brushing and gentle pets from his human friends. Fluffy will do well in a quiet home with a patient person who will give him time to adjust, and would be a perfect companion or another young or adult kitty. He is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Come meet Fluffy today!

(Almost) Wordless Mickey

Check out our handsome and adorable pal Mickey! This formerly super shy kitty, who used to try to make himself disappear when humans visited his room, let us know on Sunday that he's a fan of being pet and getting brushed. Oh, and he also wanted us to know that he loves snacks. 😸

 

 

Mickey, who is about 1 1/2, was found as a stray. For a few weeks, he was overwhelmed by the unfamiliar sights and sounds of the shelter (even thought PAWS is great, we don't blame him one bit). We're happy to report, though, that this mancat has really come out of his shell! He's still a bit on the shy side, but we can attest to the fact that he is friendly and sweet. Mickey gets along well with other nice cats and would do best in a home on the quieter side. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. When we asked who'd like to volunteer for the first Sunday Selfies Blog Hop of 2021, up stepped our beautiful and aptly named friend, Sweetie.

This 3 year-old housepanther made her way to PAWS after being found as a stray. She's still a little shy with strangers, but we can totally vouch for her! Approach Sweetie slowly, and once she knows you, this gentle girl loves being petted and brushed, and just hanging out. She's spayed, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV.
