(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Tiger Lily

This beautiful ladycat is our pal Tiger Lily. She's about two years old, and ended up at PAWS after being found as a very friendly stray.

Tiger Lily is still a little bit nervous about being at the shelter, but she is gaining in confidence with each passing day! Once she knows you, she loves being petted and enjoys hanging out. We're not sure yet how she is with other cats, but we know she would definitely be a great BFF to whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. Tiger Lily is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She's ready to find her happily ever after. Is it with you?

 

Nanar's Sunday Selfie

For what seemed like the longest time, most of the PAWS volunteers knew there was a cat in the bottom middle cage in Room 2. But we had never actually seen more than a paw or two, sticking out from underneath the cat bed that was in there. With love, patience and kindness allaying that kitty's fears of being in the shelter, we're happy to report that we have a sighting, and more! Her name is Nanar, and she is adorable and learning that the humans here are trustworthy and kind. It also turns out she knows how to rock a selfie. Just look!

Nanar is only about three years old, and came to PAWS after her owner passed away. She's a sensitive and shy girl, who was overwhelmed by the unfamiliar sights, sounds and smells at the shelter. As heartbreaking as it was to know she was under that bed, our spirits have soared as she's gained in confidence and started to reveal her sweet personality. As you can see in this video, she even likes being pet and getting attention from her pals now.💖

Nanar is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. We know first hand that she will do well in a loving and patient home. She is an absolute sweetheart, who just needs a chance to find love again. Could it be with you?

If you're looking for some smiles and a whole lot of cute, you've come to the right place cat. After all, the star of today's post is our straight-up gorgeous and adoptable friend, Lily. And in case you're wondering, she's as awesome as she looks in these photos. 😻

Lily is about 6 years old, and came to PAWS after her owner passed away. It took a bit for her to adjust to being at the shelter (which we can totally understand!), but her incredible personality has finally emerged. She loves hanging out with her human pals, being pet and brushed, and posing for photos. (Just kidding on that last one, but she is definitely a photogenic kitty.) Lily is not a fan of other cats or small children, and would probably do best in a quieter home. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Callie's Sunday Selfies

This week's Sunday selfies are brought to you by our gorgeous and adoptable friend, Callie. We're pretty sure her name is short for calico (just a guess), which, as you can see, suits her perfectly. What might surprise you, though, is that she was apparently absent the day they were giving out the "tortitude" that lots of tortoiseshell and calico kitties seem to have. Defying that stereotype, Callie is sweet and gentle through and through.

  Callie is about 14 years old, and ended up at PAWS after being surrendered when her family's son had to move back home with his dog. Callie was absolutely terrified of the dog, and the family made the sad decision to rehome her. It's a heartbreaking situation, to be sure. But Callie is being loved and cared for here, and she's ready to find her true happily ever after. She loves being petted, and enjoys spending time with her human pals. She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. We all love her, and know you will, too. Come adopt Callie today!

Happy Wednesday from our sweet, beautiful and adoptable friend, Tilly. We think she's straight up adorable. Don't you agree?

Two year-old Tilly first came to PAWS as a super friendly and very pregnant stray. She had her babies in foster, and happily, they've all found forever homes. Now it's Tilly 's turn to find HER happily ever after. She's playful and outgoing, and loves attention from her human buddies. Tilly is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All she needs now is a new best friend. Could that be you? 

 

Janet's Sunday Selfies

When we asked the PAWS cats who'd like to volunteer for this week's Sunday Selfies, up stepped our sweet and petite friend, Janet! She (and her fabulous whiskers) absolutely rocked her selfies, don't you think?

Everyone who meets Janet is struck by two things. First, they're amazed by how small she is. Although she's nearly kitten-sized, she's 1 1/2 years old, and a full grown kitty who is as big as she will ever get! Second, she's astoundingly friendly, gentle and affectionate. She loves people, and gets along well with other cats. Janet is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. This little tuxie is all dressed up and ready to find her happily ever after. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Ramsey

Check out our new buddy, Ramsey, bringing everybuddy a big 'ol dose of midweek happiness. Seriously, can you really look at this cutie and not smile?

 

The way that Ramsey ended up at PAWS is very sad. He was abandoned in the driveway of the shelter. We are happy that he decided to hide inside the open carrier left by whoever dumped him, rather than running off into the road or somewhere else. As you can imagine, Ramsey was pretty freaked out at first (and who could blame him?). Fortunately, he's figuring out quickly that the humans here are sources of good things like food, love, and catnip. As a result, he's gaining in confidence, and his curious nature and sweet personality are starting to emerge. 😸

One year-old Ramsey is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. We are confident that he'll blossom in a loving forever home. All he needs is a chance! Could it be with you?
