Janet's Sunday Selfies

When we asked the PAWS cats who'd like to volunteer for this week's Sunday Selfies, up stepped our sweet and petite friend, Janet! She (and her fabulous whiskers) absolutely rocked her selfies, don't you think?

Everyone who meets Janet is struck by two things. First, they're amazed by how small she is. Although she's nearly kitten-sized, she's 1 1/2 years old, and a full grown kitty who is as big as she will ever get! Second, she's astoundingly friendly, gentle and affectionate. She loves people, and gets along well with other cats. Janet is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. This little tuxie is all dressed up and ready to find her happily ever after. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Ramsey

Check out our new buddy, Ramsey, bringing everybuddy a big 'ol dose of midweek happiness. Seriously, can you really look at this cutie and not smile?

 

The way that Ramsey ended up at PAWS is very sad. He was abandoned in the driveway of the shelter. We are happy that he decided to hide inside the open carrier left by whoever dumped him, rather than running off into the road or somewhere else. As you can imagine, Ramsey was pretty freaked out at first (and who could blame him?). Fortunately, he's figuring out quickly that the humans here are sources of good things like food, love, and catnip. As a result, he's gaining in confidence, and his curious nature and sweet personality are starting to emerge. 😸

One year-old Ramsey is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. We are confident that he'll blossom in a loving forever home. All he needs is a chance! Could it be with you?

 

Peter's Sunday Selfie

Check out our handsome, gentle, and all around awesome friend, Peter. Don't you just love his round face, golden eyes, and perfectly pink nose? 😻

Peter is only about one year old. Brought to PAWS after he was found as a stray, this playful guy loves to be petted and enjoys getting attention from his human pals. He's neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Peter is such a good boy, and he's so ready to find his happily ever after. Could it be with you?

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Zahara

This is our friendly, gorgeous, and adoptable pal, Zahara. We think she's wonderful. Heck, we just met her on Sunday, and we already love her!

Zahara is 14 years old, and is kind of nervous and confused about being at the shelter. She wound up at PAWS after her former humans moved to a place that would not allow pets. We can't even imagine ever doing that to our fur babies - forever homes are supposed to be forever, right? Anyhow, we are glad Zahara is at PAWS, where she is being loved and cared for until she finds her real happily ever after. She is a really nice kitty! She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She will do best in a quiet home without small children. Zahara SO deserves a loving forever home. Grayson's Sunday Selfies

Handsome alert! Check out our adoptable buddy, Grayson, who's got that handsome thing going on in spades. It also appears he's pretty good at taking selfies.😸

Five year-old Grayson wound up at PAWS after he was found as a stray. He's friendly and and super playful (can you say laser toy?), and enjoys being petted and brushed. Grayson will sometimes nip when he gets overstimulated, but it's most likely a playful action that can most likely be unlearned once he's in a loving and stable home. He's not a fan of other cats, or dogs, and would do best in a quiet adult home where he could have attention when he wants it and alone time when he needs it. Grayson is a great kitty who just needs a chance at his happily ever after. We hope he finds it soon.

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Duncan

Tracey and I both gasped when we saw our new pal, Duncan, for the first time. It's because he reminds us a lot of our Angel Sammy (who some of you may remember, along with his brother Moosey, helped found this blog). 

 Isn't Duncan handsome? Just look at that round face, big eyes, and unique markings. And he's not just a pretty face. He also happens to be a sweet, snuggly and all around nice boy, who loves people and gets along with other nice cats (hey ... kind of like our Angel Sammy). He was even friends with the dog in his foster home. Duncan is about two years old. He's neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Looking for love? Sunday Selfies with Katniss

This beautiful little cutie is our buddy, Katniss. You can tell from these photos that she's great at taking selfies. What you probably can't tell is that she is incredibly petite. So much so that she looks kittenish. We were surprised to learn that she's about two years old, and came to PAWS with babies in tow!

All of Katniss' kittens have been weaned and adopted into loving homes. Now it's time for this mommy to be someone's forever baby. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Katniss is super friendly, loving, curious, and playful. She's SO ready to find her forever home.
