(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Zahara

This is our friendly, gorgeous, and adoptable pal, Zahara. We think she's wonderful. Heck, we just met her on Sunday, and we already love her!

Zahara is 14 years old, and is kind of nervous and confused about being at the shelter. She wound up at PAWS after her former humans moved to a place that would not allow pets. We can't even imagine ever doing that to our fur babies - forever homes are supposed to be forever, right? Anyhow, we are glad Zahara is at PAWS, where she is being loved and cared for until she finds her real happily ever after. She is a really nice kitty! She's spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She will do best in a quiet home without small children. Zahara SO deserves a loving forever home. Is it with you?

 

Grayson's Sunday Selfies

Handsome alert! Check out our adoptable buddy, Grayson, who's got that handsome thing going on in spades. It also appears he's pretty good at taking selfies.😸

Five year-old Grayson wound up at PAWS after he was found as a stray. He's friendly and and super playful (can you say laser toy?), and enjoys being petted and brushed. Grayson will sometimes nip when he gets overstimulated, but it's most likely a playful action that can most likely be unlearned once he's in a loving and stable home. He's not a fan of other cats, or dogs, and would do best in a quiet adult home where he could have attention when he wants it and alone time when he needs it. Grayson is a great kitty who just needs a chance at his happily ever after. We hope he finds it soon.

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Duncan

Tracey and I both gasped when we saw our new pal, Duncan, for the first time. It's because he reminds us a lot of our Angel Sammy (who some of you may remember, along with his brother Moosey, helped found this blog). 

 Isn't Duncan handsome? Just look at that round face, big eyes, and unique markings. And he's not just a pretty face. He also happens to be a sweet, snuggly and all around nice boy, who loves people and gets along with other nice cats (hey ... kind of like our Angel Sammy). He was even friends with the dog in his foster home. Duncan is about two years old. He's neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Looking for love? Sunday Selfies with Katniss

This beautiful little cutie is our buddy, Katniss. You can tell from these photos that she's great at taking selfies. What you probably can't tell is that she is incredibly petite. So much so that she looks kittenish. We were surprised to learn that she's about two years old, and came to PAWS with babies in tow!

All of Katniss' kittens have been weaned and adopted into loving homes. Now it's time for this mommy to be someone's forever baby. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Katniss is super friendly, loving, curious, and playful. She's SO ready to find her forever home. (Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Barney

Check out our handsome new pal, Barney. He's still getting used to being at the shelter, but we can already attest to the fact that he's a very nice boy. You can see it in his eyes, right?

Barney is about two years old. He's neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He's a little bit shy with new people, but definitely likes being petted and getting attention once he knows you're a friend. Barney gets along with other nice cats, and would be a great BFF for some lucky adopter with a quiet home. Looking for a new bestie? What a coincidence ... so is Barney!

Hi, everybuddy! Gracie and Ava here. We're both looking forward to spending some quality Father's Day time today with our Dad, Kevin/meowmeowmans (and Mom Tracey, too, of course). Just so you know, our beautiful mom is kinda camera shy, so we don't have selfie from her. But here are selfies from both of us kittehs and Dad. (Almost) Wordless Besties - Emily and Raya

Beautiful senior besties Raya (the tuxie) and Emily (the longhaired tortie) must have been adored in their former home, because these two gentle sweethearts absolutely love their human pals. We had the pleasure of hanging out with them on Sunday, and can vouch that these ladycats are wonderful in every way. 

Emily and Raya are a little shy at first, but they are SO sweet once they get to know you. They LOVE being petted and brushed. These two, who are both about 12 years old, were returned to the shelter when their owner was no longer provide care. Sad as that is, we are thankful they are at PAWS, where they are being loved and cared for as they await their forever home. Raya and Emily truly are best friends, so we want them to be adopted together. They're both spayed, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. All they need now is a loving home.
